Cottage with astonishing view in tranquil surroundings. Short distance to the fjord and a rowboat is available during the summer months. The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge, small oven and microwave. No dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating in the floor. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking at the cabin during summer.

Quiet area where it is nice to walk on the road or along the river. Nice marked trails up the mountain sides are and in the vicinity. Short distance to Flåm.

In winter, for the most adventurous, there is also the possibility of ice bathing! Afterwards, you can relax in the sauna (extra cost). Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

Nice hiking opportunities both along the river, and in the great surrounding mountains in Lærdalsdalen. 4 km to Lærdal center where you will find shops, Norsk Villakssenter, Sogn Art Center, Motorikkpark etc. Lærdal is located at E16, midway between Oslo and Bergen, and with a short distance to Aurland/Flåm, Hemsedal, Sogndal and Årdal.

Boat must be booked in advance of arrival.
