House holiday rentals in La Veleta

Casa Cangrejo is a beautiful villa in a peaceful neighbourhood within walking distance of many restaurants and a 20 minute drive from the beach. We appreciated the garden and pool, and the plentiful, cold water from the fridge. There’s lot of space to spread out and the villa was clean. We experienced some power and WiFi outages, and the pool wasn’t cleaned as often as we were told. The curtains in the bedrooms need to be improved and added to, so that it doesn’t let in so much light in the morning. Overall, would recommend this villa.

This place is amazing! We had lots of room for a family of 4 with 2 small children. The rooms were exactly as described in the pictures. I highly recommend staying here. Mariana provided a bunch of great recommendations, she was also very responsive and available to any questions we had. We plan to stay here in the future.

Nothing short of Amazing! We absolutely loved this Airbnb. We each had our own room which was a huge plus. Clean, exactly like the pictures. The host is extremely helpful, communication was A1. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This home was absolutely beautiful! Extremely clean, well furnished, luxury stay nestled in the jungle. We felt extremely safe with the gated area and the best convenience was having plenty of cafes one minute walking distance away! The main trendy strip is a ten minute drive. Excellent communication throughout, truly an amazing and comfortable stay!

This might be the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in my life. It is even better than the pictures would have you think. Hosts were fantastic and helped schedule taxis and other activities for us for fair prices. The neighborhood is very safe, walkable day or night, and has great food.

This house is lovely! We had a girls trip here and it was such a great spot for a group. The house layout is great, the pool set up is perfect and it looks exactly like the photos. Truly the best part was all the help from Rebecca. I’ve never had such incredible support and communication from a host before - from helping us book a private chef, poolside cocktail service and shuttles around town, to suggesting a beach clubs and restaurants for dinner. She was amazing!

We really loved our stay at Paco’s place! The house was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The location was super convenient—everything was close by, and the neighborhood felt really safe and welcoming. Honestly, we felt right at home the whole time. Paco was a great host too. Would def stay here again

Loved this place. We had to leave another Airbnb for other reasons and they were great at letting us check in early. They have a cleaning services that comes by every day (unless you ask them not to). They provide water, which for us was amazing because we drink a LOT of it. Lots of places to eat around, we even found an Argentinian place that makes the best sandwiches (I am from Argentina). I’d recommend 10/10

Sonny was amazing from beginning to end, super friendly and incredibly responsive. The place looks exactly like the pictures, and has 24 hr security… who are super friendly and helpful as well. Loved that we were able to walk to nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Sonny had endless recommendations making our girls trip so much smoother. His transportation recommendation saved us everyday, the chef, the marachi band, the masseuse, all beautiful. Our experience was nothing less of amazing. Definitely recommended and would definitely book again.

Everything was perfect! The house looks exactly like in the photos. Fast internet, reliable power and lots of amenities provided. We will definitely be back!

Great stay very responsive and beautiful property.

We had a great stay. The property was spacious with lots of enclosed yard space around the pool that was great for our kids, and having the separate guest house was really nice. The location was also great, just one block from great restaurants and shops. Short drive to the beach and cenotes as well.

What an extraordinary Home and Host. Crystal is truly the best host I have EVER encountered. This home is 100 STARS. From the beginning Crystal was very responsive and informative. Crystal set up our private transportation to and from the airport. We were able to have groceries waiting for us upon our arrival. Her staff, oh my God, have to be the nicest and most caring I have ever met. Luis the maintenance/security gentleman was the best! any questions we had about the area he was there with guidance and recommendations. Felt very safe thanks to him in this beautiful Gated community. Never felt unsafe or worried about anything. The property manager Elvia is a Godsend. The Sweetest lady hands down. She was also very helpful with any questions we had. The home itself was more beautiful than the pictures show. My kids loved the pool and love spending the evenings on the rooftop terrace. I’m running out of space to write but I hope anyone reading this review gets the point. EXCELLENT!!!!!!

this place is great. perfect for large families or friend groups. private location but still very close to centro, la velata and beachs. <15mins. some great places to eat are pepes tacos and anywhere on the main street of la velata. also we really enjoyed ziggys beach club & Ahau beach club. the hosts were very responsive and super friendly. would stay here again for sure.

Overall we really loved our stay. There were a few minor things, like the pool upstairs being broken/drained and an issue with a mixup with a chef we booked and some ants in the kitchen. But they handled everything extremely well. The house was beautiful and spacious. It had everything we could need in the kitchen and a good amount of towels. Everything was clean and the house felt very private. Sofia the property manager was extremely responsive and communicative. They were doing construction on the house right next door starting at 9am, but it really didn’t bother us as we were usually up and at em during the day anyway and the sounds weren’t too bad. We never ran out of hot water, despite multiple of us showering at the same time. Downstairs pool was great, as were the loungers. Loved the greenery all around the house and on the upstairs balconies. Very helpful in getting us in touch with transportation around town whenever we needed it. All around we had a great time and recommend!

Our overall stay was great. The host and co-host were always responsive, helpful, and accommodating to our needs. The property was beautiful and spacious — perfect for a group trip. We especially appreciated the support when unexpected issues came up, as the host communicated clearly and worked to resolve things quickly. There were a few challenges during our stay, but the team handled them professionally and with care. We left with great memories and would definitely consider staying at one of their properties again. Super beautiful and would recommend.

What a great place for our family. We wanted somewhere away from the main hotel zone and was close to restaurants. We hired a car and everything was a breeze, able to get where we wanted with no hassles. And at the end of the day we had a fantastic house to come home to, with its pool and amenities. Cédric and Laurette were very responsive (not that we had many queries) and overall the house made for a chill and relaxing holiday.

This place was great, bigger than the pictures . We where 9 girls for a Bach trip. We Felt very safe . GREAT location . It's about a 15-20 min walk from the main road with restaurants and shops . Mini grocery store less than a 1 min away. The pool was beautiful. Also Isaac and the crew that helped us with transportion/ activities/ reservations was such a huge help, they booked some stuff for us and we did our own booking for other things depending on prices. they where amazing and responsive, gave us quotes and recommendations. Even got us reservations at restaurants that where fully booked. Would stay here again for sure.

Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was easy and prompt. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed but still quiet and peaceful. This place was amazing! Everything was clean, and the pool was delightful. The ac units helped keep the rooms at a great temperature to sleep in, and the giant glass doors downstairs allowed for a nice indoor/outdoor feel, letting in plenty of light during the day! Lupita provided great excursions options to include a private driver from the Tulúm airport. I would highly recommend this air bnb. Close enough to downtown to walk if you want, but far enough away to be peaceful!

Melissa, Eduardo and all the staff were very responsive and warm throughout the stay. The villa was peaceful, clean and perfectly in line with the listing. We had a great time in a quiet and relaxing setting. I would highly recommend this place!
