Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Roque-en-Provence

We had a wonderful week. We loved the peace and the lovely town of Tourrettes sur Loup. The shops are just a two minute walk from and we really enjoyed the little shops, the bakeries and the nice restaurants.

We had a beautiful holiday in Manon's home. It had beautiful terraces with views over the fields and of surrounding mountains. Three sheep could be heard in the back greenery walking around and eating grass. It was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfy. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you need to cook or bake. The stone house was so charming and it felt like a dream to get to spend a week there. We explored Trigance, when to a phenomenal small vineyard 45 minutes away (Domaine de la Chenaie), hiked 20 minute drive away down to a beautiful bridge and crystal clear gorge water, enjoyed the bakeries in Soleil and Trigance. We splurged on a very upscale and impeccable meal at the Chateau de Trigance, which has a phenomenal view as well. Mostly we read books, played games, and relaxed in the beautiful surroundings. There was some beautiful original artwork for sale hanging around the house too. This is a place to disconnect from the world and really restore. Book here!

It's not just an impersonal AirBnB as we are used to seeing, this is a real cottage with a wonderful host of dynamism and kindness. I had lost the habit of it lately, and I found it sincerely refreshing to be able to enjoy these exchanges with Sylviane and her husband, which are wells of anecdotes and good advice! And for the curious, the museum is worth a visit for its variety, its singularity, and the stories it tells. Beyond that, there is nothing to complain about the setting, the view and the accessibility, the accommodation is very pleasant, furnished with great taste and offering a surface and volume well above average. And the outdoor part with its barbecue and terrace will allow you to make the most of the sun of Provence. My only regret: having only stayed one weekend. I can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

Chrystelle was very approachable throughout, from booking, through our stay until our leaving. The place is beautiful, so is the whole property very well taken care of. The chapel lacks nothing, was spotless and the guests await a proper folder with detailed information about Grasse. Chrystelle is very warm, sophisticated and a respectful host. Experience the most authentic southern French country life.Beautiful stone house, beautiful lake view, even if you go the wrong way to the lake, it is a beautiful trip.The room is clean and cozy.The hostess and host are very kind people and will give you a lot of privacy.The most special thing is the two gun dogs, I want to take them home directly ∠ (｀ω´*).

Christophe and Lena were the perfect hosts. They were very discreet and flexible and left us to enjoy their charming house but at the same time really went the extra mile to make our stay in La Colle-sur-Loup an unforgettable one. From the warm welcome, the thoughtful welcome pack, the ease of check-in and check-out and the flexibility around timings, it’s hard to imagine a smoother and more hospitable experience. The value for money really is EXCEPTIONAL too, particularly when you consider the location right in the heart of the village and that you’re getting an entire house over four levels, including a stunning roof terrace with a view across to Saint Paul de Vence that we used a couple of times for breakfast and lunch during our stay. La Colle-sur-Loup is a great place to visit, but is also really well located for Nice, Saint Paul de Vence (walkable in around 20 minutes) and the coast - we were on the beach in Antibes in around 25 minutes. We will definitely be back!

We felt very comfortable in Sonia's apartment. Sonia personally welcomed us and gave us tips for Vence. The view from the windows and balcony to the mountains is simply magnificent. The balcony is wonderful, room for a delicious meal. The apartment is within walking distance of everything that is needed, also to the bus station, from where you can easily reach Grasse, Antibes, Nice,... We hadn't rented a car and didn't miss anything. Vence is wonderful for a vacation in Provence. Thank you Sonia, for staying in your cozy apartment.

We had the best time staying right in the heart of St. Paul de Vence! The home was clean and spacious and we really appreciated the washing machine for laundry and the air conditioning since it was extremely hot the day we were there. Thank you Amandine for such a wonderful stay!

I still can’t believe my luck finding this place! The apartment was incredibly clean and tidy, with everything you could possibly need - including extra blankets, beach towels provided, and a well stocked kitchen. And the view out the window is absolutely stunning! The restaurants in the village square were great, and the Renoir museum is close by and a must-see. I hope to be back one day!

Very good location, the house is quiet and beautiful, suitable for a holiday to slowly enjoy the surrounding beauty, the interior is fully equipped and tidy, everything is just right, the owner replied promptly and recommended the use of various facilities around.The most surprising thing is that there are many delicious and scenic restaurants in the nearby ancient city. We absolutely loved this cozy and beautiful apt. The view was worth the money! Frederic was super nice and helpful, responsive and flexible, provided recommendations for local restaurants. Walkable to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. We found the parking right outside the building very easy too!

The apartment is great and has a beautiful view. Even in the details, everything was perfect: very good air conditioning and an extremely comfortable bed. Bed linen, towels, dishes/cutlery and the whole apartment in general were super clean. Sophie responds very quickly to questions and is always available. Unrestricted recommendation!
