Family-friendly holiday rentals in La Madeleine

We spent a long weekend in Bert's charming flat. The location is excellent, most of the sights are within walking distance. There are also great cafes, restaurants and shops around the corner. The balcony overlooking the Leie is very nice. The flat is stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Bert was very communicative and friendly.

We spent a weekend with a group of 8 adults and 7 children. We found a beautiful house clean, welcoming, warm and with a beautiful garden in which the kids had fun playing. It has everything you need for toddlers with high chairs and umbrella beds. The hot tub was much appreciated by everyone:) There are clear instructions throughout the house. In short, a great 2 day stay. Too bad we only stayed one weekend!

Beautiful villa, very spacious and super equipped. The garden and terrace are beautiful. The icing on the cake, a jacuzzi available. Thanks to Jean-Pierre who is a very friendly and generous host. Really attentive to his guests. Go ahead without a second thought, you won't be disappointed.

Christine is a lovely person the cottage is a haven of peace in the middle of the birds' songs. the cottage is impeccable and decorated with a lot of sensitivity and softness. the very comfortable bedding. and the final flourish, a beautiful relaxation at the end of the day in the jacuzzi. an excellent choice, I recommend it at 200 /💯 we'll be back for sure.

Christophe and Sylvie are very friendly and welcoming hosts, an impeccable accommodation very well equipped! We had a great time! The jacuzzi was very nice after the day of sightseeing! We will come back without hesitation!

A beautiful place in a peaceful setting to disconnect. We loved staying here. The house is surrounded by nature and animals, perfect for relaxing and forgetting the everyday. if you want to have a pleasant time in Lille, I would highly recommend it! the apartment is cozy and very well arranged and the small terrace has all its charm for a little aperitif! François was very nice and flexible on our arrival time. Everything is done on foot, no need for a car that is parked in a parking space below the apartment! In a dark word!!!

Very nice, beautiful living space. Plenty of space and light. Number of seats in the sitting area/living room is a bit limited, three or four adults can sit comfortably. Easy to get to the centre of Lille by bus or on foot along the water. Perfect for a weekend in Lille with family or friends.

This place is amazing! such a beautiful location. We had a lovely time for our 4 days. The house is great, very tastefully decorated and lots of amenities. The pool was an excellent addition but unfortunately the weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped. Nevertheless we had a lovely relaxing time, playing boules, walking the vast grounds and enjoying the peace. We hope to visit again.

We had an incredible stay at Lievekes house. The photos on the listing did not do it justice! The facilities for children are incredible- our 4 year old and 6 month old couldn't have been better catered for! The kids playroom outside was a big hit. The hosts were friendly and approachable and helpful when there was an issue. They were so helpful at check in and really thoughtful at check out with the children. Our son loved being able to explore the farm, feed the alpacas and sit in the farm machinery. Lots to do nearby too from Bruges city, Ypres history etc. We will be back!

the exchanges with Audrey were very pleasant, clear and efficient. the house is more than charming, clean, spacious, very well equipped, extremely pleasant, well arranged and above all, it smells good🥰🥰🥰. Not to mention the excellent quality bedding (important when you are over 40🤣🤣🤣) even on the sofa bed. Amazing stay although only for work! Bertrand is a lovely and attentive host, The breakfast wish freshly squeezed juice and hot coffee was perfect. The house is beautiful the rooms are enormous and modern. Peaceful and quiet with the beautiful garden and pool! We could not try it, but apparently Bertrand is an amazing chefs and can organise events and dinners at his beautiful home! Maybe next time 🙏🏼

Honestly, no complaints. We were very well hosted , the accommodation is clean, well arranged and very well equipped. When you have a question, we'll answer you within 5 minutes. The pool is beautiful, very hot, very clean and very large , my 4 year old daughter loved it. There are even children's games outdoors. It's really great for a family vacation. We were able to go to the sea because the weather was nice ( 50 min drive ) and the northern beaches are beautiful. The people who hold the cottage are adorable and fold in 4 to make you feel good. I recommend 1000%

We have a wonderful stay behind the back in Martine's home. Everything was super clear to welcome. The large spacious kitchen and the extra fridge made sure we had enough space to tidy everything up nicely. It really felt like a home. All the amenities for the kids are great, from games to dining chair and plates. Really great! Highly recommended! We are already looking into our agendas for a next date for staying in this cottage! An extra plus, you can go to the restaurant for breakfast, very easy the last day of our stay!

This beutiful apartment is in a little village outside the bigger village of Ypres. Perfect. Ann tells me that it's a lovely walk (I think she said about 45 min) to the village if you don't have a car - though I would recommend a car for exploring the area. The apartment is so cozy, clean and welcoming. And the bed is perfection. I just wish the weather would have cooperated and we would have been able to enjoy the shared garden. Though Ypres is much smaller than Brugge or Ghent - it's perfect. Great restaurants in the village square and a central location for all the drives to the WWI memorial sites. I highly recommend staying at Ann's apartment, it's a warm and comfortable space to start and end your long days of exploring.
