Family-friendly holiday rentals in La Balme-de-Thuy

Let me start by telling you this place is absolute gem 💎. The view of Mont Blanc will be the highlight of your trip. It is literally breathtaking right from the house. The Jacuzzi was awesome. The town is like a ferry tale. You will be very fortunate if you book this place. I’ve been all over the planet and this is one of the coolest locations I’ve ever stayed.

We had a very good stay, and slept very well in a warm and very clean caravan. We will return during our next stay without hesitation.

Hélène's accommodation is very well equipped, very welcoming, a nice terrace and on the edge of a beautiful river. Hélène is a caring and very available hostess. I recommend it for a peaceful, quiet stay, close to Annecy but away from its hustle and bustle!

We had a great weekend in this small cottage with very welcoming, flexible hosts and good places to stay. The accommodation is very good. I would highly recommend it!

The stay in the castle was something very special for our whole family (6 adults, 3 children aged 4, 6 and 11)! The atmosphere is particularly elegant, the view is awesome, plenty of good amenities and the surroundings are gigantic! We enjoyed the garden with the different seating areas, played a lot of table tennis and hiked from the house, spent a wonderful afternoon at the lake directly in Bonneville, appreciated shopping in the village (especially the Fromagerie) and from there went to Chamonix (cogwheel railway: fantastic - gondola on the Aguille du Midi and hike from the middle station: breathtaking!) and in the "horseshoe valley" with the many waterfalls: highly recommended! THANK YOU, Cathrine! Also for the trust!

We had a great time with the family. The accommodation is outstanding and is something very special. There's nothing missing here. The view of Mont Blanc from the chalet, as well as the possibility of using the many hiking trails directly from the accommodation, are spectacular. Vincent is an excellent host. I am deliberately not saving on superlatives here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to being Vincent's guest again in the future.

A large and beautifully appointment loft right in the middle of Annecy. Easy to get around to all attractions. Would highly recommend a stay!

Léa was so friendly, efficient and flexible that I would like to find in everyone in this field! The accommodation, the environment and the neighbourhood were what we remembered most from this stay! Very nice view and place with a faithful description on the site, easy to access and pleasant I recommend this place and this host to everyone. The place is really peaceful, the house was very clean, very well equipped there is really everything you need apart from the furniture we even found laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, salt… Mathias wasn't there but he really planned everything for our arrival, even the plug to charge our vehicle in the evening. He even makes sure that everything goes well during the stay. My children loved the garden and all the entertainment facilities on site. The location is really great, very close to Geneva and also Annecy, the long weekend of the ascension is not enough to do all the visits as it is so beautiful. I recommend it with my eyes closed and there will certainly be a next time for us. Thank you Mathias!

Excellent accomodation

Thanks to Elsa for her responsiveness in our exchanges and requests. The accommodation is isolated but the directions to find it are clear and detailed. The view is exceptional!! Well located, all activities (paragliding, canyoning, lake, restaurant, city centre, etc.) within 30 minutes.

We came to Michel & Svetlana's to stay during the animation festival in Annecy. We were extremely well received, the accommodation is perfect as well as its location easy to find (20 min from the city centre), quiet and beautiful. The hosts are very attentive and we were very well received from the 1st day. In addition, the pool is particularly pleasant. We recommend 100%. Signed Rémi, Justine and Célia.

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. Nordic bathing is a plus. The hikes nearby are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

Unfortunately the photos don't describe it well... the BEAUTIFUL chalet that Marc offers, very warm, not far from the city but still out of the way for peace and quiet, the place is GREAT and the chalet, as rustic as it is, made us very happy for 2 days! Thank you bcp Marc:)

We stayed for a week at Bertrand's place for a business trip. Bertrand is a friendly and very welcoming host! The house is as described, clean and all the amenities offered are functional. We will be back! Thank you Bertrand for hosting us!

Everything is very good... Except for me, the contact. You attach importance to it where you do not, but I have not had any contact with Christele except by SMS. This is not my vision of Airbnb, but a perfectly liberal vision... Just the feeling of being a cash drawer, two text messages to remind me to leave at 10 am for the next tenant and that's it. I gave 5 stars because I don't want to harm Christele…. But maybe Christele is called Georges…. Basically, I don't know... I'm probably old-fashioned... I send a final text message to inform them of my departure... And nothing, no return, not even a good road... quickly to the next!! In short, for the rest of the services... nothing to complain about, the value for money is very good, this rental was efficient, profitable, productive. Thank you Georges…

Had a very nice stay. Spectacular and idyllic landscape. Appartement very well equipped, especially when travelling with small children. A bed, a chair, cups, toys, everything was there. We didnt know that we were supposed to bring towels though, but received some anyways. Very friendly owners, happily showing our children their animals and letting the feed them.

Wonderful family weekend in this beautiful house. The numerous rooms allow everyone to have their own space. Jo and Anita are very welcoming and accommodating. Once again, thank you for everything. Looking forward to returning to this beautiful house.

We had a pleasant stay at Emmanuelle's. Our dog Paco and we were delighted to stay at the chalet. Spaces are large and clean. The garden is enclosed and private, which makes it a major asset. We had our independence, all 15 minutes from the centre of Annecy. Thank you very much!
