We enjoyed our stay. The location and view were great. Many eating places, bakery, supermarkets & subway in the area all within walking distance. We found the seat, coffee table and sofa are too low and uncomfortable for tall people. We would recommend a normal size table and chairs next to the kitchen area to replace the boxed in mattress on the floor that can’t be moved.

It is beautiful, the place is not too far away, and the price is cheap, so I am satisfied.

Accommodation good location and central

Great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood while still being well connected to the rest of the city via buses and the airport line. Short walk to Ohori Park and the beachside as well.

There is a 7-Eleven on the first floor, so it is very convenient. You can walk to the station.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming Airbnb in Fukuoka. The apartment is closed to some local restaurants, and shops, and easy accessible to public transport if not driving, The space itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. It had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking meals a breeze. The bed was comfortable, ensuring I had restful nights after long days of exploring. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. They checked in to make sure everything was going well and provided great insights into local attractions.

Takashi's place is excellent for anyone going to Miyazaki to surf. It's a short driving distance from the main surf spots. I rented a board and a wetsuit from Takashi. He showed me the spots and gave me helpful tips. The house is located is a quiet residential area away from the city. Nothing bothers you during the day nor at night so it's great for relaxation. You get to hear the sound of the crashing waves and you can even check out the ocean conditions from the upper balcony. The terrace is huge - larger than in the pictures. The interior of the house is small. It could use a larger sofa but we instantly felt like at home anyway. The futons are super comfortable to sleep in and the spacious shower room was convenient. Internet was super fast and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home. The main drawback for me as a taller person were the low doorways inside - I repeatedly hurt my head bumping into them. Other than that, perfect stay and a legendary host. Great value!

Great place and a great host! Having been blocked by snow we arrived late and she was waiting for us to welcome us. The heating table prepared by our host after several hours of motorcycling in the cold did us a lot! Thank you very much!

We stayed for a night on our way from Nagasaki to Fukuoka. The house was clean, new and had a beautiful view of the lake. The projector in the room made it hard for the kids to leave the house in the morning as they were busy watching a movie! One of the most beautiful airbnb’s I have been here in Japan. The place is prestine and complete with all the necessities. Noriko San is very friendly, responsive and proactive. Would absolutely recommend this place if you’re visiting Itoshima 🙂

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the weather, but the living room and room were spacious and comfortable.

This is an amazing house directly on the beach. It was by far the best rental of our entire Japan trip. As a matter of fact, it was the best Airbnb rental we have had over the past years. Everything was there with clear instructions. It was much better than the pictures. Ideal for our family of 6 from the Netherlands. Highly recommended! It is only a few steps to an unspoiled sand beach, surrounded by a beautiful rocky landscape. It’s a short 10 minute drive to an excellent Onsen, and within an hour there are many things to do and see (for example, the Samurai Armor factory, Samurai residences, a Satsuma pottery village, Japanese gardens, etc.) as well as some great restaurants and stores. Great place, spacious and convenient location. Mika was fantastic, so helpful and guided us to some eating gems. Place is well set up for a surf base, with everything you need, including bikes with surf racks! Definitely returning..see you next time!
