Private room in Usa

Healing in nature at an old private house guest house (Ajimu, Usa City/30 minutes to Yufuin and Beppu)

Welcome to Chikyujinmura, an eco-village that cares for the planet and its people! Ben, a host who has lived between Japan and Australia for 25 years while travelling the world, moved to Ajimu-cho, Usa City, Oita Prefecture, an area dotted with many power spots, during the COVID-19 pandemic. He renovated a precious old kominka house dating back 145 years to the Meiji era to create this accommodation. Situated on high ground, you can enjoy a sensory experience as you enjoy breakfast, have a BBQ, do yoga, meditate, use the sauna or go stand-up paddleboarding at the spectacular waterfall nearby, all while taking in the beautiful rural scenery below and, on clear days, the view of Mount Yufu. At our own farm right in front of the property (currently under preparation), we grow vegetables using completely organic methods, and if you're interested, we can also take you on nature and farming experiences, such as picking bamboo shoots and wild vegetables, on the 3,300-square-metre hill behind the property. Anshin-in-cho is famous for its grapes, and grape picking is extremely popular. The Anshin-in Vineyard produces wine that ranks among the top 10 in Japan, and you can also tour the winery. What's more, Oita is Japan's number-one hot spring prefecture, and there are four hot spring facilities in Anshin-cho.Yufuin and Beppu, which are famous for their onsen towns, are a 30-minute drive away. Come and experience the Earth with all five senses, surrounded by the vibrant energy of nature.

A 2-story old private house next to Don Quixote ♩ The theme of the facility is [Private Ryokan]. Very convenient location, 1-minute walk to Don Quixote! Of course, it is a private type, so you will not meet other guests ♩ There is parking space for one car in front of the entrance on the 1st floor of the building. It is an old house built 50 years ago, but the interior has been fully renovated, so everything is new! About 800 m (about 10 minutes on foot) to the downtown Shitadori Arcade, there are 5 bicycles that you can use freely (you can go there in 5 minutes by bicycle). There are many restaurants and amusement facilities around, so you can enjoy yourself in many ways. When families and groups stay, the tension rises and the conversation bounces, so I designed the interior with that in mind. ☆ BBQ terrace in the courtyard is completed! You can have a BBQ with just the ingredients ♩ (fully equipped with BBQ equipment)
