It was a more luxurious house than the photos!I enjoyed playing simulated golf, sauna, and barbecue, but especially the sauna was great because the temperature went up to 110 degrees! I will use it again when I play golf in Miyazaki. Thank you for telling us about the butcher shop you recommended.

This is my second time staying here and it'll always be my top choice when I'm in the area :) The house is clean and cozy and the surrounding area is so peaceful, quiet, and dreamy. Everything is beautiful and I feel so relaxed staying here. There was a big storm the last time I stayed, but the patio is fully covered, so I got to sit outside and sip my coffee while listening to and watching the rain. The bathroom and kitchen are so well-stocked -- I haven't cooked here but the kitchen makes me want to! John is also a fantastic host who is so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here if you have a chance!

The old house has been renovated and was very clean and stylish. There was no close house, so we had a relaxing stay.

As soon as I arrived, it was beautiful to stay. Everything in the room, the sauna, and the pool are exactly as pictured. It was a space where you can relax and forget about your daily life. Even if you don't have to go to the resort, you are satisfied here.

The place is wonderful with the spectacular view that we got to enjoy especially at nite from inside the living room and outdoor area… The place is clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our children enjoy the bunk bed very much. Will surely come back when we visit Yufuin in the future.

The location was also great and we had a good holiday! The host responded quickly, and we were able to stay with peace of mind.I want to stay again.

This was by far the best accommodation we’ve stayed at. Toru was super responsive and helpful with any queries prior to check in. When we mentioned that we were going to BBQ, he gave recommendations for shops to buy meat and other groceries from. He even went the super extra mile and helped to set up the BBQ seats/equipment and even lit a fire for us with his own charcoal, all before we arrived!!! I believe Toru has far exceeded the bar for Japanese hospitality. Instead of feeling like a typical guest in any hotel/Airbnb stay, he made us feel like we were distant relatives visiting him for the day. Amenities in the house were amazing and perfectly maintained too! 11/10 would recommend this place. Bonus points cause there’s cats.

A relatively new place, the furnitures are new. A modern high tech house with central cooling/heating system. The house is spacious for a family of 6, with big TV and Netflix. There's washing machine and dryer, and also microwave. Full kitchen for us to cook. Parking is easy and spacious for our Alphard. Overall a comfortable stay.

I used it for sightseeing in Hiroshima.The inn was clean, the host was a friendly person, and we had a very pleasant time guiding us around the area by the host's car and arranging restaurants for dinner. Also, the accommodation fee is quite reasonable, so I recommend this place if you are sightseeing in Kure.

Spacious and private place to stay in Fukuoka! The location was great, a 20 minute walk to Hakata station or a few minutes to the nearest metro. We also walked to a number of sites and restaurant areas. There was a grocery store just a block away, in addition to convenience stores everywhere. The house was spacious and quiet. We enjoyed our stay!

They were incredibly kind, friendly, and generous, making us feel right at home. We felt privileged to stay at Aiko’s place. Not only was the property great but our interaction with Aiko was wonderful. She was kind and helpful, above and beyond any other host in our experience. Our stay was special and will be fondly remembered.

Takeshi and Michiko are the best Airbnb hosts we have met. We had a great stay at their beautiful and warm home. She n her family were very hospitable, baked us bread n buns, even made us blueberries yoghurt. When I asked for the bread recipe, they shared with me and even gave me a pkt of the Japanese flour. Since we felt so overwhelmed by their hospitality, we bought a punnet of strawberries for the family. They even bought us a gift on our last day, so touched by their gesture. This place must be recommended to our friends and family. Must come back again when we visit Beppu the next time. Takeshi and Michiko, thanks once again for hosting us! You have set such a high standard that the other hosts will not be able to follow.

It is a typical Japanese house in Kurume, nicely decorated. Clean and tidy.

This mountain cabin was a delightful breath of fresh air during our family trip around Japan. It worked really well for us to have 3 separate bedrooms and our own personal indoor/outdoor onsen. As other guests have mentioned, the home is not well insulated so it does get quite cold during the spring nights. Certain parts of the house are not heated at all, such as the kitchen and bathing area. However, the main living room has a lovely view of Kirishima and Sakurajima (when the weather is clear) and stays toasty warm even in cold weather. Overall, it was a really unique experience and we took full advantage of the hot spring onsen.

The place is private and quiet. Maybe due to time of the year in March, the wind is very big. It keeps rattling the windows through my 3 nights stay. Other than that, all are good.

this is a very nice location really close to the beach, some nice restaurants and a surf spot very close. And a good bus to fukuoka close by. recommended!

Great place and a great host! Having been blocked by snow we arrived late and she was waiting for us to welcome us. The heating table prepared by our host after several hours of motorcycling in the cold did us a lot! Thank you very much!

We loved our stay at Mariko’s place. It had lots of space and felt very homely. The kitchen is very well stocked and the bathroom is lovely, with great views of the harbour from the bath. Mariko was a fantastic and very responsive host. She also recommended local places for lunch/dinner. The neighbours are very friendly too.

This home is located in a small alley near the harbour. 500m away is the wharf to go to Kuroshima, Two flat parking spaces available (great👍) Reminder: please drive directly to the parking lot designated by the host, unload your luggage, and then you can go to the homestay for about 100 meters (do not try to drive directly into the homestay, because the alley is really small, the car may be stuck in the middle and into the retire valley). This home is a new home remodeled in an old house, the host was very attentive to make the house tidy, the facilities were very well stocked, life was very convenient, we enjoyed staying here for three days and nights, and we were also happy to recommend this beautiful house to everyone!

Thank you for allowing us to check in earlier than set up. The room was spacious and we had a very pleasant time.
