A short walk to the lake and Omori boat ramp. With plenty of bush walks, close handy. There is a pool table and plenty of board games in the bunk room making this a great space for the kids to enjoy. There is NOT internal access between the floors. Sorry. Sheets, pillow cases, towels, and teatowels not provided. Strictly no parties pls.

Welcome to Barron Place, where tranquility meets elegance. This spacious lakeview retreat offers an ideal getaway for families. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and room for 10 (6 adults max). Large glass doors open to stunning lake views. The expansive deck is perfect for morning coffee or evening BBQs. Unwind, entertain and explore, this escape has it all. *PLEASE NOTE* there is a $20 linen/towel fee per bed. Queen beds - 2 towels, single beds - 1 towel. You are welcome to bring your own linen.

This stylish and unique retreat space sets the stage for a memorable trip to a beautiful part of Lake Taupo. A stand alone spacious modern room with ensuite, separate from the main house with a stunning view of the lake. We are a short walk to the lake for swims or use our kayaks. We are surrounded by gorgeous nature walks. You may wish to treat yourself to a relaxing massage, or book in for boating excursions & water-sports, $150 for first hour, $100 per hour thereafter. Cosy unit with Geothermal Hot Pool

A cosy, two bedroom, centrally heated unit. Enjoy the large geothermal hot pool after a long day. A full size pool table, smart tv, wifi. A small kitchenette for light meals and snacks, plus a we private cottage garden to enjoy native birds and trees. Taupo is 50 minutes drive from our home. We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 40 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. Ski season is all go.

Boomerang Boulder Bach Whareroa Village Lake Taupō

Built in 2023 the Boomerang Boulder Bach above the shores of Lake Taupo, at Whareroa, is styled in the architectural era of the 1950s. Wood-paneling throughout, stone interior wall, Scandinavian-styled furniture, and bespoke kitchen. A wrap-around deck shows off Lake Taupo, and the imposing Whareroa Cliffs with an enticing bath tub nestled at the base. The village has very few permanent residents and so the peace and quiet is almost deafening; birdsong or boats is often all you will hear.

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

World class fly fishing on Tongariro river, skiing at Whakapapa and famous Tongariro Crossing.

Harry's Lake House

Formally called "Peaceful Poplars "Step straight from your comfortable, spacious, lakeside home onto the grass reserve and a few paces to the beach and safe swimming. A large section has room for the boat with the boat ramp only a short 1 min drive away. This Bach is perfect for both a summer or a winter holiday. Ruaphehu ski fields are a 40 min drive, and mountain biking and thermal hot pools hit the spot during winter. Boating, fishing, kayaking, and hikes are close by during summer.
