In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

De Roode Stee Grolloo (private entrance)

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

The bustling city of Groningen can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car or train! The house is the perfect base for exploring the area in any season, but at the house and in the spacious garden it is wonderfully relaxing!

Berend Bedje in Zuidlaren

Berend Bedje is a cosy, detached B&B in Zuidlaren, a nice place to relax - after a walk, bike ride, a relaxing weekend, a visit or even a week. The cottage (34 m²) is attractively furnished and suitable for 2–4 people (sofa bed). The cottage has an outdoor seating area at the front. Walk the Pieterpad in 9 minutes or explore De Drentsche Aa National Park. The centre of Groningen can be reached in 19 minutes. Breakfast can be booked for €17.50 p.p. Welcome!

Enjoy this beautiful place with beautiful views of the Zuidlaardermeer! Our cozy furnished chalet is located on the beach at Meerwijck holiday park in Kropswolde. The chalet features an open kitchen and a spacious seating area. Outside is a spacious veranda with a 6-person dining table and a complete seating area overlooking the beach/lake. The chalet has its own Wi-Fi connection. At the back is a shed. The chalet has its own parking space.
