The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

The center of the city of Düren is 3 km away from the apartment. In addition, the location is ideal as a starting point for cycling tours along the Rur.

In this apartment with its own entrance you can feel completely comfortable. All floors are made of natural wood, the walls of clay brick, the room atmosphere very pleasant. On the southwest balcony you have a wonderful view over the wildly maintained property, the forest and the neighbor's fallow deer enclosure. Individual guest house on Gut Neuwerk

The individual guest house is located at the end of the 6-hectare property. A former stable is now a retreat for 4 people, redesigned with great care and attention to detail. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen with a dining area and a fireplace, a bedroom and a large bathroom with a freestanding bathtub. The 1st floor consists of a loft-style studio with a large window front, in which there is another double bed. There is also another fireplace, a grand piano and a large corner couch.

The small vacation home offers tranquility and relaxation. With bird chirping and the first rays of sunshine over the mountain, you wake up in the cozy bed under the sloping roofs of the house. Obermaubach offers a reservoir with ice, coffee and pedal boats. Hiking and cycling trails in nature as much as your heart desires. Relax in our special and quiet accommodation! The newly furnished apartment for up to 4 people with about 60 square metres is distributed over two floors. To be highlighted are a fully equipped kitchen, TV, sofa bed, large panoramic windows, a cosy box spring bed, the private terrace with outdoor seating and ample customer parking spaces. The panoramic window of the holiday accommodation is oriented towards the sunrise and forest. We are looking forward to your visit!

The spacious 100 sqm apartment has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a guest toilet. The apartment can accommodate 4 people. An additional baby crib can be provided on request. Adjacent to the living room is a small terrace by the stream where you can sit undisturbed. There is a small village shop right next door, and a delicious pizzeria is within walking distance.

The Red House in Veytal

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.

The apartment has an area of approx. 120 sqm and is furnished to a high standard. Last renovation 2018. The apartment can accommodate 2-4 guests. Children's bed and highchair may be available upon request. The terrace at the rear is part of the apartment. Covered sitting area as well as a ping pong table. A charcoal grill is available. Children are also welcome to play in the garden.
