Kaksio Sunila by Aalto Päivölä

Renovated two-room apartment (45m2) in Pieteettilä, with bedroom, living room, kitchenette, bathroom and balcony. Sunila is a unique forest suburb designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto. The apartment is in a terrace house without an elevator in Päivölä, which was completed in 1939. The center of Kotka is about 13 km and Karhula about 3 km. The apartment has been renovated as much as possible to its original state, and it is furnished on a circular economy basis, mainly with furniture designed by Aalto. We wash textiles with odorless detergents.

A cozy and beautifully decorated studio apartment with everything you need for your stay. The location is absolutely great, between the marina and the market square, both of which are a few minutes' walk away. The view from the apartment windows opens to the adjacent park. The apartment in the old stone house is quiet thanks to the solid walls, and is located on the west side of the house. Free parking either on the street or in the parking area at the port, where there is also a charging point for electric cars.

The yard building, with its own yard and terrace, is located in a rural area along the Kymijoki River, in the beautiful landscape of Siikakoski. This cozy place is just a 5-minute drive to services. Massive logs and wooden surfaces bring atmosphere to the upstairs bedroom and living room. Downstairs there is a small but well-equipped kitchen and a small bathroom/toilet. The parking space is in front of the door. During the summer, guests have access to the host's beach, where there is a swimming opportunity.

Our guest room, which opened in 2023, awaits your visit to the peaceful village of Valkko in Loviisa. Apartment suitable for two people with its own entrance. The stylish kitchen, bedroom and bathroom have just been renovated. You can park your car right next to the guest room. Valkko's wonderful nature and proximity to the sea, e.g. the beach nearby, allow for a variety of outdoor and sports activities. You can come to us even by paddle boat. For the cyclist, we offer a bike wash and maintenance option.
