In addition to an old rectory, we have developed a small ancillary building individually for ourselves, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of times gone by. Many things seem to us to be coherent, some are still in the process of becoming. Nix is standard. What is not yet considered by us and makes sense for guests, can usually be supplemented quickly. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden at the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

Welcome to our Kate in Mönkebude – Mönke's Kate and Meer – at the Szczecin Lagoon of the Baltic Sea Our monument-protected Kate by the sea is at your disposal for your relaxation. The Kate was built about 1850 as an extension for the former large barn house of a fishing family of Mönkebude and used for living until about 1982. Today, our guests recover between the old half-timbered walls made of bricks, clay plastered walls and under the beautiful Reeth roof on about 80 square meters of living space.

The old and cozy character of the house could be preserved and so this object captivates with its half-timbered structure, the bricks preserved for the most part and its thatched roof. Ideally the house can accommodate 2 adults. An extra bed for up to 2 additional persons in the living room is possible. If this is not enough, the neighbouring houses (4 adults + 2 children & 2 adults. + dog).
