We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

Lia was so helpful and amazing during our stay. Fast responses when asked questions, she provided us with not only comfort but made us feel like we are at home. We didn’t have a car so lia was kind enough to help us in every way possible. Lia was the best hostess we could have asked for and we are so grateful for her. Definitely the best place we have ever booked and we will definitely be recommending this to others and we will come back for sure!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Kindest and sweetest hosts. Went out of their way to make us feel at home and were always readily available for questions. Location is perfect and close to all the best spots. Private rooftop pool is lovely. Huge thanks for letting us check out late as there was no booking till the following day. It made all the difference in the world to our long trip home!

A real insider tip for those seeking peace, nature and privacy. The accommodation is idyllically located, surrounded by many olive trees and mountains - perfect for switching off. We especially liked the beautiful pool, the well-maintained tennis court and the refreshing outdoor shower - a real highlight after a hot day in the sun. Everything was very clean and lovingly designed. Magdalena was always available and quickly answered all our questions. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back! A tavern, a petrol station and a small bakery are within 15 minutes' walk. However, since there is no pavement, a car is definitely recommended! The nearest beach, Heraklion and the airport are about 15 minutes away by car.

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

We were well received! Angelina was a very nice woman to communicate with. The first night on arrival we got dinner from her because we were delayed 24 hours and the supermarkets were not open. Villa was very clean. Only downside was the wifi in the villa. The connection was very poor and in a room you had no connection at all. After we indicated that there was no wifi, she told me it would be taken care of. After we had raised this, we were in the villa for 9 days. During that remaining time, we didn't hear back from that. The taxi that was offered to take us was also a good taxi service. And all other activities and services offered were high quality. The cleaning ladies were good and thorough in their work which made the villa well maintained. In short, the wifi was a very nice vacation experience and a very nice host.

A big thank you to Vasilis and Magdalena for this great stay! Their responsiveness, flexibility for our arrival and departure and the many tips and recommendations allowed us to fully enjoy Crete. Clean and very pleasant accommodation, with the essentials available. Very convenient location to visit and discover new places. Only downside: the noise of planes and the highway, an environment quite noisy for the night. Thanks again!

The place is exactly like in the photos and Anna is a great host! We had a great time staying there for our girls trip. The place is 5-7 min by foot to the sea and nearest beach & restaurants. Anna was always very kind and responsive when we needed to reach out to her for any questions. I recommend this place to everyone and will stay there again the next time I’m in Crete.

It was a very pleasant stay. Appartement was neat and everything was there that you need. The first day the appartement was a bit difficult to find, but Konstatinos reacted immediatly with the right location. He welcomed us and showed everything in the appartment. There was a possibility to get the appartment cleaned in the middle of our stay. That was very nice. The beach was 5 minute walk. A lot of restaurants and beachbars to choose from. Check-out was also very easy. In front of the building there is a free, large parking space, sometimes you have to wait a couple of minutes before there was a free spot, but overall we had a spot most of the time. We highly recommend this appartment!! Thank you for this pleasant stay!

Korina's apartment in Kato Gouves is very spacious, bright, well-furnished, complete with all needs and very comfortable. The strength is undoubtedly the beautiful terrace where you can dine and spend unforgettable evenings in total relaxation. The surrounding area is quite quiet, ideal for families, well-stocked with all necessities: shops, supermarkets, pharmacies and many tavernas. Kato Gouves is located on a sandy coast: the beach closest to Korina's apartment is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas and the sea is very nice and quite low, it degrades gently and is ideal for young children. On the neighboring beaches there are long shores of wonderful red sand, mostly wild, where you can practice the different water sports. Korina is a very kind and friendly innkeeper, which I recommend: she is always available and responds in a very short time for any need.

I stayed with my wife and in-laws for three nights. The home was spacious and we enjoyed having the extra room. Thomais left us some treats in the fridge. A great home base. Note the beds are the firm side. The main living area has Air Conditioning but the upstairs bedrooms did not.

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.

What a special place! We loved this place. It was so cozy with nice, hot water, and comfy beds. The best part were the special touches .. a cup of washing machine liquid for washing a load of clothes, coffee and filters, bottled water, an iron, fans for each room and an extra blanket, small bottles of shampoo. Everything we needed was there. The restaurants were so good, and it was a joy to explore the area. Thank you, Eva!

Our stay at Alexis and Nina's villa was nothing short of extraordinary. It was our third and final stop during two weeks in Crete, and it was the most luxurious and lovely spot (among a group of them) for me and my wife. The villa is set in a small village on a hillside overlooking the sea. It's about 30 minutes into Heraklion, and the village (though by no means a city) has plenty of places to eat and shop. It's also exceptionally quiet and private. The arrangement of the villa is essentially a "compound". There are three separate parts of the villa, each with separate entrances and all immaculately cared for and luxurious. As we were only two people, we used the lower villa (3 bedrooms), but multiple couples or even a large family would be very comfortable here. The villa was perfect, only eclipsed by Alexis and Nina's hospitality and generosity throughout our stay. There were too many examples to cite of their kindness and care, but it made our stay extra special. We'll be back!

beautiful very spacious apartment and beautiful view of the sea and the island opposite. The accommodation is well equipped and the owner thought of making the stay as pleasant as possible. there was nothing missing (toilet paper, cotton swabs, olive oil, sugar, coffee, rusks, jam and so on...). only downside: there is no washing machine but a dishwasher, I think it is a bad translation! in case of problems, the owner is very responsive and very quick. we loved our stay and for sure we will be back with great pleasure.

Very very Beautiful Apartment and a Yard just for yourself to use and hang out. Perfekt for Couples or Families. There is also a small village with a little shop for some quick shopping. But in 30min you are in Heraklion and at beautiful beaches. Also Georgia is very kind and looks after you! Would def recommend and come back :)

The villa was just as described. Great location, walkable to the beach and close to bars and restaurants yet still private. We were able to check in early and were met by Maria’s family and all the amenities were explained well. Maria checked in with us regularly and came to clean during our stay. We even locked ourselves out and Maria was very helpful in getting us back in. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Its a great loft styled house that has an amazing patio/ rooftop! The place is also very conveniently located close to the highway and has lots of restaurants, shops, and pharmacies nearby! As its close to the airport, we did hear a lot of loud airplane taking off but it DID NOT bother us and it was very cool to see plane taking off in the hot tub! The hot tub was such a great addition to the space and the host provided bathrobes for our stay which was also a nice touch! It is placed in an area that is very private on the rooftop so you can totally enjoy with privacy. The host is great communicators and respond very promptly! The check out experience was very easy and they made it extra hassle free!

Apartment was great, spacious and really nice outdoor area. Never a problem finding parking across the street, which made the location very good. Close to grocery store and some good restaurants, recommend trying Kontra Flokos right down the street. Yiannis is a very friendly host and answers quickly any questions you might have. Would absolutely stay here again.
