Staying at this incredible wooden cottage on Koggala Lake was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome and at home — their warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for the entire stay. A special shoutout to Yohan, whose help and attentiveness were simply amazing and made everything even more seamless. The cottage itself is beautifully constructed, giving off a fantastic homely vibe with stunning views of the lake. The team even torched the gardens for us in the evening, creating a magical, serene atmosphere. The pool was always clean, inviting, and accessible — a perfect spot to unwind whenever we wanted. All our basic needs were thoughtfully and thoroughly taken care of, making the entire experience completely stress-free. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality, this place is an absolute gem. Can’t recommend it enough!

What a wonderful stay at Cashew House! If you’re a nature lover looking for beautiful, peaceful surroundings this is your spot. Everything is as described and the hosts Lucie and Lahiru are so attentive and helpful. Their home cooked food was so delicious and such a treat. The outdoor shower was a highlight for me, just feeling at peace and at one with nature was an incredible experience. Surrounded by trees, you overlook the most stunning views of the lakes in the distance and you are immersed in gorgeous bird song all day and night. You might spot some monkeys playing and lizards in the trees. You can also become friends with some very cute dogs who will hang out with you and keep you company if you want. Again, a highlight for me! I could have stayed much longer and would definitely love to visit again. Thank you Lucie and Lahiru for the most perfect stay!

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time in Shehan’s apartment for almost 40days❤️ The apartment sits in a quiet neighborhood which is surrounded by lots of green. It only takes 5-10 mins by tuktuk to get to the city center by main road. Our place was well prepared before we arrived, it has every basic things we need and all the appliances functioned well. Shehan and his family are very warm-hearted and helpful, they always bring the things we need and solve the small problems in the first time after we tell them. Meanwhile they also gave fully respect to our privacy. We’d love to book the apartment again if there’s chance in future!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Kumbura. The house is well designed and spacious, with everything we needed. The team was incredible and looked after us with such warmth and care. Highly recommended!
