Lovely stay in York, being able to leave the car in a private spot during the day and walk to the town centre was definitely a bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple cooking and the bathroom was very clean. We didn’t get bothered by neighbours or outside noise during the night so that was perfect ! Gary gave very clear instructions and was quick to respond whenever I messaged him. Would definitely recommend !

Really enjoyed our stay here, fantastic location, lovely and private and love having somewhere to park. Cute welcome basket and loads of info on the local area and things to do. We will definitely be staying again. Everything you need was provided, literally a home from home. Thank you!

Such a great place to stay when visiting York. Short walk into the centre and accommodation comes with parking space . The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. Lovely comfy bed. Also has a great host, very helpful. Would recommend and definitely book again.

A fantastic location with parking but perfect if you are foot. Easy access from the station and into the city. The accommodation was as specified, nicely furnished and fully kitted out if you want to cook, iron etc. Overlooking the city walls but a quiet location nevertheless. We has a very happy stay.

Second time staying here. Lovely apartment kitted out with absolutely everything you need . Lovely little touches like the honesty bar . Great central location. Highly recommended

A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

We stayed overnight at Diana's and it was perfect. The photos don't do it justice; it was much better and the living area, bedroom and bathroom were all huge! A great place to stay.

A great experience from start to finish . Place was comfortable, beautifully furnish , private, quiet and in a Great location to access Ilkley ( by foot) and surrounding area . Judith was a great host and check-in was a breeze : loved it and will definitely return

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. We had a great stay as a family of 4 and the kids especially loved having the horses in the field out the front. Lucy was a great host! We would highly recommend.

We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.

Such a wonderful home for our one night. We wished it could have been for longer. Everything you could want, comfy beds, great showers, neat kitchen. Dogs loved it too!

Amazing kitchen we both loved cooking in our tapas meal in it. It was great to have a selection of herbs and spices already in the kitchen. Everything clean and tidy . We had the most wonderful stay at Spinney Cottage in the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales. Rosie, Nicky and family were so kind and helpful. The cottage was perfect for a peaceful get away. It was spotlessly clean, friendly and inviting with those extra touches just making you feel at home. No detail was missed. Beds were super comfy. Log burner made you feel very cosy and was lovely to sit in the glow of this on the evenings. The eggs, cake, tea/coffee/milk and toiletries were all brilliant. We loved our stay, we loved meeting Tip, the ducks, chickens and bees. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Lovely little stay just outside of York, exactly what we needed as a little weekend away. Great communication from the host, lovely clean rooms and even welcome scones which were greatly appreciated 😊 great value for money

This was my second time staying at Ben and Kate's place. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay somewhere peaceful but within a few minutes walking distance into the town centre. They have the comfiest bed and leave delicious chocolates too.

This flat is exactly as described - it was in an excellent location for our needs and Richard & Caroline could not have been more helpful! Thank you guys - we really enjoyed our stay, the flat was perfect, if only we could have stayed longer!

We had a great stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was great and walkable to the York sites. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again if we are in York again.

Jackie’s spacious Airbnb was 5 star+. This was the best Airbnb we had stayed in. The location was peaceful and quiet. Jackie had thought of everything to make it feel like home. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. The kitchen had everything required to self cater. The basket of goodies was much appreciated. Very comfortable bed with extra pillows and crisp white linen. The large bathroom included a washing machine and a fabulous shower. Communication with Jackie was easy and she was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting York and it’s surrounds.

We loved our stay … the apartment was comfortable, light & airy with a pretty view out to the garden and the walls of York. Very easy walking distance to everything you would want to see & do in York. Great local restaurants. Could not recommend this apartment enough!!
