In our cottage you live - as a self-catering - alone or with good acquaintances, because you use the kitchen and the living-dining area together. As well as the entrance area. you can also sit together on the terrace. Our house is located on a little busy county road. But you already hear the cranes calling or are awakened by birds chirping in the morning - you are vacationing in nature. This includes dog barking or a cockcrow. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the village. A lot of forest surrounds our property where you can park your vehicle comfortably.

We welcome you to a total of 2 apartments on a former three-sided farm. Treat yourself to a break and relax in peace and surrounded by nature! The apartment was newly renovated in spring 2022.

Attic Apartment

The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

Small but nice!

The cozy apartment can be reached through a spacious staircase. The light-flooded sitting area can be used for relaxation. A small wardrobe is located in front of the apartment door. In the entrance area of the house is a terrace for sitting outdoors. The view is towards pasture and meadow. Barbecuing can be done on solid ground (observe the forest fire warning level) or sports can be played on the adjacent meadow. The quiet atmosphere allows a lot of relaxation.

Small apartment in a Swedish house

Our farm is located in the middle of the biosphere reserve. In our old stable building on the farm is a small, simple apartment. The annex has an extra entrance. Here you are in the middle of nature, the rooster crows in the morning in the barn right next door, geese, goats and sheep graze peacefully in the meadow. Our dog Mascha guards the farm and all the animals. A wonderful clear swimming lake can be reached from here by car in 10 minutes.

In the middle of a wooded recreation area directly on the Quitzdorf reservoir is this gem with extensive amenities and enough space for up to 5 people. Welcome to "Casa Paloma" Casa Paloma is located on the eastern outskirts of Milkel. This gives you unrestricted views of meadows and forests from the terrace. The Little Spree flows right next door. The wooden house was built of untreated spruce wood. The house offers you on 24 square meters everything you need for a relaxing nature holiday. Living and kitchen area is open. The sleeping area can be reached via a staircase ladder.

With its loving furnishings and its size, the tiny house captivates and offers a special vacation experience. The modern interior makes it possible to focus on the essentials. In the living area, with its well-equipped kitchen, dining table and cozy sofa, the large window front ensures magnificent light. Here you will find the perfect place to relax, hike, observe nature, cycle and simply enjoy the countryside. The Upper Lusatian Lake District is the land of cranes, wild ducks, sea eagles, wolves and lynx. You will be amazed by the diversity of wildlife and the breathtaking natural scenery.
