The holiday home "Gute Stube" is part of the original farmhouse of the smallholding "Hufe 9". Just recently - and lovingly - renovated, this little gem now accommodates up to 4 guests in the middle of the outstanding natural beauty of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. With direct access to the lake Plätlinsee it offers both relaxation as well as more active holiday pursuit options (swimming, paddling, hiking etc). The southfacing terrace provides an ideal backdrop for evening BBQs.

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Each unit in the semi-detached house offers ample space for 7 people over two floors (3 bedrooms), a fireplace and a terrace with a small garden. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed. There is a supermarket with a bakery/butcher's shop near the house, as well as a canoe rental service.

Knehden is located in the middle of a nature reserve, only about five kilometers from Templin. In addition to cranes, sea and ospreys can also be observed here.
