Cool off in the dipping pool and relax in the tree shaded pool area or on those wet winter days curl up next to the indoor fireplace. Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Nestled between towering mountainscapes and enduring vineyards, this property is situated in Franschhoek, a town known for its world-class dining, wine tasting, and natural beauty. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). There is also a tuk tuk taxi available, please view enclosed information for contact. Please note there is a friendly young rescue dog that roams freely on the property. Lily Pond, is a luxurious guest house just an hour and a half from Cape Town. Lily Pond is set on a natural pond brimming with incredible bird life, creating a serene atmosphere unmatched anywhere else. A bungalow directly overlooking the sea, rocks and gardens in a well maintained complex. Light, spacious with 3 double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. The gardens surround the bungalow on 3 sides with a private area for braaing. Well located for easy access to Hermanus centre, restaurants, beaches, golfing and Fernkloof Nature Reserve and a front row view of the ocean for whale watching in wintertime. There is a new log burning stove & portable heaters. There is no central heating.

BushBaby Cabin

BushBaby Cabin is perfect for a romantic get-away. A log cabin beautifully nestled in the milkwood forest, just 20mins from Hermanus - secluded from the busyness of life. Situated by the Botriver lagoon, with a private path for access, this hidden gem brings you to nature's doorstep. Look out for the roaming wild horses and a variety of bird-life. BushBaby is in Meerenbosch with communal pool, tennis courts and table tennis access. Ideal to catch summer sun or a warm, cozy fire in winter.

Cottage on Fir Hermanus

Superb non-smoking garden cottage at the back of the main house. It sleeps 4 guests in two very luxurious en-suite double bedrooms (Air conditioned) with spacious TV- lounge and small kitchenette. (Well equipped). Expect good quality linen and fluffy towels and unexpected little luxuries. A sparkling pool, free parking and Fibre Wi-Fi on the premises. Guests can enjoy the garden and pool at leisure. It is completely separate and private as only one other person resides in the main house.

Beach access via bridge currently unavailable.

Belle Cabine - Log Cabin in the Milkwood Trees

20 Mins from Hermanus and 1.5hrs from Cape Town, hidden in the beautiful Middlevlei Nature Reserve on the mouth of the Bot River is this majestic log cabin. The cabin is situated within a 200m walk of the lagoon and 1km from the beach. It consists of 2 bedrooms (2 x DBL bed, 1x Single Bunk) & 2 bathrooms, indoor fireplace, open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area downstairs with a balcony upstairs. There is a large outdoor entertainment area with a built-in braai and picnic table.

Heidi's Child, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

Protea Loft Cottage nestles under the branches of an old tree. Protea is the top unit of two cottages in a large garden. An airy open plan space, stylishly decorated with your comfort in mind. Open the sliding doors, sit back onto the comfy couch, and look out over the garden and swimming pool. My place is close to mountain contour paths, cliff paths, and beaches. You’ll love my place because it is peaceful, comfortable, has a beautiful sea view and is safe.

Oppiedam Family Cabins (Flamingo)

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.

Kalliste’s Misty Shores Cottage - Betty’s Bay

Located on the seafront and in a biosphere reserve, Kalliste’s Misty Shores Cottage is the private and freestanding cottage of Kalliste Beach House (owner's accommodation).
