Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Dit Commiezen huis (douanekantoor/earlier BORDER/ TAX CONTROL Office )een van de oudste huizen aan de monding van het Noordzeekanaal.Het huis stamt uit 1875 en vormt dus de basis van het latere IJmuiden. Met de grootste zeesluis van de wereld op loopafstand en strand en visserijhaven binnen een straal van 1 km is deze plek een ideaal uitgangspunt voor dagtripjes. Haarlem (15 min.) en Amsterdam (30min) zijn ook makkelijk bereikbaar. OV -bus en trein -zijn aanwezig evenals vrij parkeren.

This beautiful family ship is fully equipped. There is a fully equipped kitchen, internet and toilet. There are 8 beds spread over a captain’s cabin, a room in the front and a fixed bunk bed next to the aisle. Showers are possible in the shower complex in the harbor, where 16 showers are available for you. You can also sail to Amsterdam and stay there for the night for example, or sail on the IJsselmeer or North Sea. We would like to tell you what is possible with our beautiful boat.

Welkom in onze luxe Bed and Breakfast (Boutique Suite) gevestigd in een karakteristiek gemeentelijk monument uit 1877 – de eerste bakkerij van IJmuiden. Hier slaap je letterlijk op historische bodem, in het hart van de oude winkel waar ooit het brood werd verkocht aan de kanaalgravers van het Noordzeekanaal. Onze benb is gevestigd in het winkelpand van deze voormalige bakkerij. De prachtige ruimte heeft onder andere een luxe badkamer met sauna en een eigen entree.
