Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

From there it is only a 5-minute walk to the center of Piesendorf with restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, bus stop, tourist office, etc. The ski areas of Zell am See and Kaprun (glacier), the Tauernspa in Kaprun, the Zell am See golf course are only a few minutes away by car. A ski cellar with ski boot warmer is available in the house.
