The accommodation is beautiful, clean, very well located, what a pleasure to have the Jacuzzi and sauna after a good day of activities. You have ski rental and a chairlift just a short walk from the accommodation, it's great. I recommend it and hope to return.

This lovely apartment was right next to the ski trails and within walking distance of restaurants and ski slopes. The listing was just as it's described. We stayed with four adults and the space was good, I'm sure it was great for a family with children. The apartment was clean and had everything you need to cook. We stayed over Easter, definitely at the busiest time, but the area was peaceful. We thought this place was an excellent value for the price and location. The hosts were also friendly and communication was smooth.

Great place to stay! As per the brief given, the property exceeded expectations. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The location is ideal—easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transport. All promised amenities were provided—Wi-Fi, hot water, clean linen, sauna, and toiletries were available and in good condition. A special mention to the owner for being extremely helpful and approachable throughout the stay. Their prompt assistance made everything more comfortable and convenient. Would definitely recommend this place to others and look forward to staying again.

Easy check-in with a code. Place was plenty (if not too) warm when it was nearly -10 outside. Had to learn a bit how a Finnish steam sauna and clothes dryer (which was really a heated cabinet with racks and a fan) worked. Very comfortable twin beds (it was just myself) . I felt a little bad that I might be wasting energy since I had to crack the window a bit to lower the temperature a bit to sleep well. Could not find a thermostat so suspect that the entire apartment building was centrally heated. A short drive from Elve’s Village where I partook in the most awesome riverside wood-fired steam sauna and ice water plunge experience *ever.*

This place is immaculate. It’s so light with lots of windows, and spotless. It has food stashed everywhere and even its own sauna ! It’s such a beautiful spacious apartment with lots of cute furnishings and very cosy. The hosts were very helpful. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in . Thank you! Also a great location.

The apartment was perfect for our stay – cozy, clean and as described. The location was great and communication with Saara was easy and fast. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Clear recommendation!

Petri's apartment was very comfortable. The equipment of the kitchen as well as the rest of the apartment was also very good. The center as well as many restaurants is in walking distance. Many winter activities (cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, ski-Doo) were also very quick to reach.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Wonderful location, there is an open area nearby where aurora was visible in the night.

We spent 5 days at Daiva's fantastic home. The house has everything, super comfortable, super close although we had a rental car. The sauna is a plus,the sleds for the little ones another plus. I highly recommend this house and would happily repeat again

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to the centre to walk everywhere but much more peaceful than the areas with all the hotels. So great having the sauna as well!

I would like to say a huge thank you to MaRi for such a wonderful home and hospitality. The house is located a 45-minute walk from the city center. By bus, it takes only 5 minutes, and the ticket costs €9. The house itself is very cozy. Mari, as a host, is very responsive and welcoming. She replied to messages within minutes and was very understanding. If any help was needed, she was always there to assist. The house is very warm, the sauna is amazing, and everything is exceptionally clean and cozy. Thank you so much! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and acquaintances. I would rate this home 100 out of 100!

A fantastic, fully equipped property in a magical forest location. The kitchen and all the utensils contained in it offer the possibility of a fully independent self-catering, the bedroom as well as the beds are cozy, the indoor sauna provides limitless relaxation and washing machine as well as dryers allow textile care if you return home after challenging hikes or sports activities. Päivi is also a host as a guest could ask for: infinitely lovable and friendly, always good to reach and charming in communication. We therefore lacked nothing during our stay and we would be happy to be Päivi's guests again at any time and recommend Päivi's cottage without reservation. Nunu was a great host who met us to help us check in, even though we only stayed a night. The apartment was perfect, although the location might be a little inconvenient for those who doesn’t drive. Highly recommended!

Convenient accommodation to the supermarket and restaurants, two minutes from the entrance of the cross-country slopes, quiet area. Very clean when we arrive, it has everything you need for a great stay! Johanna was very friendly in her responses and quick to support! Highly recommended for those of us who have done a week of cross-country skiing on these wonderful slopes!
