The nearby Puljutunturi is a great hiking destination. No hunting.

Ylläs Mukka is a cozy half of a barn (49 + 6 m2) with good transport connections. The open living room-kitchen space allows you to get together by the fire. The sauna heats up with a stone chimney, and there are four people staying upstairs. This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax. The cottage is located on the shore of Ounasjoki. Behind the river is Aakenustunturi. The cottage has electric heating, a wood stove, and a fireplace. The sauna is heated with wood, which is also located in the same building. Access to the sauna is via the terrace. Water for the sauna is fetched from the river with buckets and heated in a wood-fired sauna stove. The property has a very clean outdoor toilet with no heating. Ice hole in the river open in winter.
