Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kitsap County

I rented this home for a long weekend in January and it was wonderful! The downstairs area has a fantastic kitchen (it's large, well-stocked with small appliances, and a great space for those who love to cook and bake), it has a large table for dinner and games, and a very cozy living area with a couch, giant bean bag chair, and gas fireplace. We certainly felt at home here! There is immediate beach access from the house and it's a short drive into town. The host, Kirsten, was super responsive and helpful. From the beginning, I knew that we were in good hands and would be well taken care of by her. I would note that the main bedroom, the one with the largest bed and fireplace, is not in a private room but is in an open loft space. It made for an interesting and less-than-ideal bedroom setup when sharing the house with a larger group of people. Despite the lack of walls and privacy, the room itself was quite nice - the fireplace kept it warm and the view from the bed was fantastic.

Such a wonderful cabin. It was super cozy and was the perfect get-a-way for our fam of 3 + 1 dog. For a place that is dog friendly, you could not tell! It was super tidy and clean and simple. Fished right off the beach, had fires and also appreciated the tv for movies at night and games. It’s in the description, but just make note of the pathway down! It’s well maintained, but if it’s rainy it can be a little slick. It definitely would not deter us from coming back but if you have a hard time mobility wise, it would be trickier! This place is 10/10

This was a wonderful stay. The area is so peaceful and the view from the deck was awesome. The house was very clean and had everything you could need, it is truly a home away from home - with a better view!

What a lovely home and what a wonderful history it has. We got a chance to talk to Wendy’s husband a little bit about the house. It’s fascinating. And the location is perfect. Wendy was extremely accommodating as it was very difficult for us to get there until quite late at night. We can’t recommend this home enough and we’ll be back for sure.

Had a wonderful time at ‘Casa de Clam’ so much so we have already booked another stay! Panoramic views of the water. We experienced a summer storm one of the nights and watching the lightning from the house over the water was amazing! Sitting on the deck each morning while enjoying coffee was peaceful and relaxing. The tide goes out each day for the perfect opportunity for exploring the beach! The winery in town (Mosquito fleet winery) is a great place to visit and the wine does not disappoint!!! Cant wait to spend another weekend at this home on the beach!

Maily is very responsive and flexible, friendly and helpful, the space is very nice decorated and atmosphere is very peaceful, nice view, beach is just right out of the door, the bed and sheets are very comfortable. We had a very relaxing weekend. Thank you.

The main home is absolutely lovely with phenomenal views. Everything is well stocked with books and kitchen gadgets, as well as outdoor seating and firewood. The apartment is very spacious and fully stocked. Recommend guests purchase shellfish licenses for oyster harvesting prior to arrival and head down the hill at low tide. Also bring binoculars for bird watching. There are a couple of bald eagles that made regular appearances. We are already planning another trip for next year!

Beautiful location and nicely updated home! Our trip was for attending a celebration of life. This home was peaceful, serene, private and provided a comfortable place to clock out for each day and relax. Early morning coffee was much enjoyed while watching the sunrise through the many windows and unblocked views of the water. I’m a huge fan of natural light, and this was IT! The sky lights, many windows, beautiful. Would definitely book this place again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy bunkhouse! Beds were comfy and the festive winter lights around the hearth were a nice touch. The kitchen was not stocked with some staples (salt, pepper, oil, coffee), but there was a convenience store just down the road. An added bonus was the friendliest barn cat in the whole world, it was hard to not invite him in, but we sat on the porch for cuddles with him every night. Thanks, Keri!

After a long day of travel, coming home to this darling place was exactly what I needed. It’s cozy, clean, and felt like a true haven to rest and reset. I enjoyed my time here. The decor is charming and the layout is perfect. There are enough heaters to make the place as cozy as you’d like and the fireplace is easy to operate. The hosts also leave little treats to make sure you have what you need and feel right at home. They are also very responsive, so if you need help with anything, they’ll promptly get back to you. The designated parking was also a plus. The neighborhood is quiet and the view from the space is serene. I definitely recommend.

Tereasa’s cozy and charming setup was just what I needed after a 65-mile bike ride! She was an incredibly thoughtful and reliable host, checking in to make sure everything was perfect and welcoming questions along the way. I’m so grateful for the warm hospitality and look forward to staying again on my next long-distance cycling adventure.

The location is peaceful and quiet, with the nearest neighbor at a comfortable distance, offering plenty of privacy. One of the highlights was spotting lots of seals lounging close to the cottage—a delightful and unique experience. The space is well-maintained, cozy, and perfect for creating lasting memories. I had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The host was very friendly and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a nice weekend girl’s trip and enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was the best part! The kitchen was fairly well stocked and the dishwasher was a nice big size so we were able to cook meals and snacks. We played some board games at night since there is not a lot of other things to do in the immediate area (which we knew when booking). We never felt privacy was an issue. only a few small things - The living room does not match the photos on the listing as there is a lot more furniture in there now that doesn’t really seem to match the overall aesthetic but is comfortable. There were dog hairs all over the sheets in one of the rooms so I had to use a spare blanket. I only realized this late at night when I was about to go to bed so it took the host a little while to respond but he did first thing in the morning! Overall good stay if you’re looking for a quiet trip out of Seattle.

Loved staying here. Everything was absolutely beautiful.

A wonderful and tranquil getaway. Cabin has all the basics you’d need to stay and cook meals (coffee machine, pots and pans, toaster, plenty of cooking and eating utensils. Also had basics like cooking oil and condiments). A great location not far from state parks, the beach and small stores. Would stay again!

Great cozy space for a weekend away. The fireplace stove was comfortable but the heater worked as well. Overall, a great mix of being comfortable while also back in the woods. The living room furniture could use an comfort upgrade but the house is great.
