It's ideally located for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, Scarborough, Whitby and the historic walled city of York. Located on one of the main roads in Pickering (sometimes there will be traffic noise) the tree lined street of Eastgate is beautiful in all seasons and the town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Visit one of the fantastic pubs or catch a steam train to Whitby.

We had a great overnight stay! It was clean, peaceful and just what we needed. Liesa was incredibly welcoming and proactive with communication throughout. The location was perfect for us, especially since we were attending a wedding nearby, it made everything so convenient.

We had such a lovely stay at the hut! Our hosts Gary & Clare and their dogs Elvis and Mac were exceptionally welcoming, chill and friendly, everything felt simple yet thoughtful. A beautiful hike from the Hole of Horcum and around Levisham railway station + a hot sunny morning enjoying Pickering’a church, lovely cafes and its friendly locals made us feel right at home. Hoping to come back soon! Thank you 🌈

Had a great week in 4 The Ropery. Very clean and comfortable. In an amazing position in the town centre and only 2 mins walk from the NYMR station in Pickering. Ideally situated for shops restaurants and bars. On site parking which is something we always look for. We will return.

We had a lovely peaceful stay at the Granary. The cottage was spotless and Kate was there to greet us. It was a bonus to have the local pub within walking distance and serving delicious meals. My wife and I would certainly recommend staying here.
