Updated efficiency pool house apartment at the Scarborough House in rural Stantonsburg. ~20 min from I-95, restaurants, shopping areas in Wilson, 25 min to Greenville, 30 min to Rocky Mount. House is inside the pool area - not suitable for families with small children or anyone who cannot swim as this house is inside the pool gate. This quaint historic cottage, "The Hunter-Stevens Law Office", (c. 1855) is located in the heart of historic downtown New Bern, steps away from shopping, dining, and the waterfront. The cottage sits on the property of the historic Coor-Cook residence (c. 1790), known as the "Stanley Hospital, Officer's Ward" during the Union Army occupation of New Bern. The cottage originally served as the law office of Mr. Geoffrey Stevens, a prior resident of the Coor-Cook house.
