Standing in the quiet forest, the view of the white birch trees filling the window is like a painting. Dappled sunlight streaming through the large windows, a landscape where the white of the birch trees and the green of the forest intertwine, and a hot spring fed by the source spring that relaxes both body and mind. The bathroom features "WABURO", a harmonious blend of cypress fragrance and beautiful tiles, providing a luxurious bathing experience with the warmth of wood. We designed this accommodation to allow you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and simply immerse yourself in "quiet". The interior is modern Japanese-style with the warmth of natural materials. In a spacious area that can accommodate up to 13 people, you can enjoy a high-quality, quiet time surrounded by nature on all sides. On the terrace, you can enjoy coffee time or a BBQ while gazing at the white birch trees, and at night, you can enjoy the star-filled sky. The forest scenery, which changes its expression with each season, makes your entire stay special. Ideal for a hot spring trip in Minakami, anniversaries, family trips, retreats, and workations. Limited to one group per day, Mökki is a small cottage with a garden by a stream

Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see small birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy 'living'. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season. It's a calm space with a traditional Japanese house motif.The living room features a large kotatsu-style sunken hearth, perfect for enjoying meals and drinks.There is also a 4-seat counter bar. With Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Shiga Kogen, Madarao Kogen Ski Resort and Togari Onsen Ski Resort all nearby, it's the perfect base for winter sports.There are 8 golf courses that can be reached in about 30 minutes, including Madarao Country Club, which is a 5-minute drive away during the green season, and there are also many day-use hot spring facilities.The owner lives on the right side after going up the front entrance and can be contacted at any time. They can understand everyday English conversation.During the green season, you can harvest fresh vegetables from our own farm at any time, and you can also enjoy a barbecue in the gazebo in the garden.The garden is also large, so you can enjoy a short walk.Iiyama's specialty product is the famous green asparagus, which can be enjoyed from May to July. There is also a roadside station nearby where you can enjoy fresh vegetables and delicious soba noodles.

🍃 ‘Nüek’ is a small traditional kominka house located in the Kurohime Kogen highlands in Nagano, which has been restored as an entire accommodation. The renovation was attended by Studio Sayapu led by Mr. Kitazawa, an artist based in Nagano.Focusing on Mr. Kitazawa's sensibilities, the company's craftsmen brought out the power of the old private house and finished it into a space that quietly accommodates sophistication while making use of the taste. It is cool in summer and in winter you can enjoy skiing and snow scenes.While surrounded by nature, time passes as you gently prepare yourself. Instead of being a place to stay at the end of a trip, the accommodation itself becomes the destination of the trip. Enjoy a special time that can only be had at a small, secluded inn 🏠🍃 ⸻

Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

A 1000 square meter private villa with 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We offer each "way of spending time". After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy an extraordinary time. < Winter season November-March > The outdoor bath is closed during the winter months.
