Great stay at Andrew’s place, comfy, and exactly as listed. Andrew was friendly and helpful, even told us about a local street festival (we couldn’t go, but appreciated the tip!). Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Lancaster.

A beautiful retreat in a beautiful part of the world. A great place for a meeting amongst friends. Plenty of space, extra blankets for cold nights and a fire to keep warm. An amazing authentic experiences which was loved by all of us. This was a place to remember. Thanks.

Lovely house in beautiful location by Coniston Water. Brenda was very helpful & friendly sharing tips on places to go & nearby walks & providing maps, leaflets & guides as well as personal recommendations. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome & at home. I would definitely recommend staying here!

What a memorable stay in the Lake District, in an absolute beautiful and remote place that has so much history! Kate was a fantastic host, we loved our conversations together and hanging out by the fire in the evening. The cats and the hens brought us so much joy! Kate went above and beyond to set up breakfast with many choices - even accommodating for gluten and dairy free. The road to get there is an adventure in itself, luckily there's not much traffic and it went really well for us. We would highly recommend staying there! Note that the ground in front of the house is uneven and there are a few steps to get into the house, which can be challenging for people who have difficulties going up stairs. You might be as lucky as us and have a cat waiting for you at the top though!

A wonderful home away from home. True to and more than what exactly mentioned in the booking page. Five star hotel like hospitality service provided. Tess was really helpful, kind, and informative. A must try staying option minutes away from famous destinations in the Lake District. Will definitely book again in our next visit. Overall rating 10/10.

I travelled to The Coach House for business. It is a 10 minute drive to Workington. Everything was to a good standard, aesthetically pleasing, and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the shower spacious. You will have neighbours - the sheep. The sheep made a sound, I thought it was a duck! Thanks Joanna. Pig loved it too. X

Christine made us feel welcome from the moment we booked the cottage right through to the end of our stay. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. We booked the cottage as a surprise getaway for my sister’s 40th birthday, and we were looking for somewhere peaceful where we could also bring our dogs. The secure (and massive!) garden was perfect for them. The generous stock of logs and the incredibly thoughtful hamper on arrival went above and beyond our expectations. The barn itself is very spacious, and having all three bedrooms en-suite was so convenient for our group. It’s only about half an hour from Ullswater Lake, which made it the perfect base to explore this beautiful area. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this cottage to others in the future. Thank you ! X

Exceptional! The accommodation was spacious, quirky in a good way, surprisingly well equipped, and no expense spared. Our host Ivan was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We plan to return!

we know the area fairly well, and our usual place wasn't available on the dates we needed. this was perfect for our stay. The fluffy towels and great shower were lovely. basic supplies provided, and a chocolate cake :-) Bed is very comfortable too, we slept extremely well The local pub was recommended, The Stag Inn, Dufton and we had already booked ahead, for our first meal. (sirloin steak and corned beef and onion pie) We had a roast in The Mason's Arms in Long Marton on Sunday evening with our friends and it was delicious. 2 years since our last meal in there and it lived up to our expectations. we would stay here again.

Beautiful cottage in great location in the centre of town and handy for the Lakes. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished with lots of lovely touches like a beautiful bunch of flowers and goodies on arrival. Highly recommended.

What a lovely find for a last minute get away. Very easy to book and communication was excellent. We were greeted by Martin, who offered to help with our luggage, quirky followed by Howard. Both hosts were friendly, chatty and welcoming and were available if we needed anything during our stay. Howie provided us with a parking permit, a bargain at £5 and Martin showed us to our suite to make sure we were happy. Recommendations for places to visit were also given The suite was spotless and had everything we needed for our short stay. Bed was super comfy, fluffy towels and it was great to have a living area to relax when we returned later in the evening. On leaving the following morning, Martin came to say bye and again offered to carry our luggage. We had a lovely time, great hosts and will definitely return and recommend to family and friends. Thanks Martin and Howie.

Stunning place, inside was lovely and beautiful surroundings. We booked last minute and as 2 travelling with work so did not get to enjoy the place as much as I wish we could of!

Amazing apartment, looked exactly like the pictures and had everything I needed for my stay. Was in a quiet location and within walking distance of local shops and the train station. The complimentary breakfast at Jay's cafe was delicious everyday. I would definitely stay in this apartment again if I am ever back in the area and would recommend to friends and family.

Brian made this weekend escape special. He was so communicative and helpful both ahead of our stay and during. The farmhouse is an authentic Westmorland 18th Century building with many original features. Our room and bathroom were private and cosy. Breakfasts were the perfect start to the day. Tea and coffee was also available in our room. Location was superb with a short walk to the local pub, The Punchbowl, a gastro pub with award winning fayre. Brian and I shared the same birthday (day and year), so we had lots in common. The cats were a great hit, with guaranteed cuddles and no claws. In summary, a great spot for a mini break in the Lake District!

We only stayed for a night passing through but I would definitely come back to use as a base for exploring Hadrians Wall and northern Cumbria. Tastefully decorated and characterful, very comfortable and Andrea was an amazing host - very welcoming and helpful. Even made us fresh coffee and toast to go with the cereals /milk provided.

I could not have been happier at Jacqueline and Geoff's place. absolutely beautiful, nice and clean. nice and friendly all that I could ask for!!

The pod is fantastic, very spacious and well stocked with tea, coffee and snacks. Marco was a great host - he explained how to use all kitchen and bathroom facilities on arrival and even brought a cooked breakfast to the pod in the morning! The location is perfect for walking with some of the best routes in the Dales just around the corner. We drove 15 mins to Settle for dinner as the options in the village itself were fairly limited but there are lots of great restaurants a short drive away. I’d absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a break in Yorkshire.

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

It was a wonderful and unique experience, Elizabeth was wonderful and generous, the hostel was beautiful, comfortable and wonderful, the breakfast was beautiful, the view was amazing, I will repeat the experience again, thank you Elizabeth.

Ambleside and the location of the accommodation were excellent. Andy was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast set me up for a big day out. Dietary requirements were easily met withour any fuss. The room was comfortable and cosy.

Our stay at Rob & Becky’s was lovely! A great location, very close to buses and the train station. The room itself was very tidy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also wonderful and a great way to start a day of exploring the area.
