Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kerns

Dorina and Mauro were fabulous hosts. We arrived later than anticipated and they stayed up late to greet us personally and show us the space in detail. They are a very kind and charming couple. Their accommodations were spotless, extremely comfortable and private. We felt at home and had everything that we needed right at our disposal. The morning espresso on the patio was a very special treat. I would 10/10 recommend Dorina and Mauro and their lovely apartment to anyone traveling through or near Quinto!

De ontvangst was hartelijk. Het appartement, de begane grond van een mooie woning, voldoet prima voor vier personen. Alles is brandschoon, de welkomstmap is goed verzorgd. De ligging is ideaal voor wandel- en fietstochten, Bern is goed bereikbaar. De keuken en badkamer zijn goed voorzien van alle gemakken. Een aanrader.

Casa muy amplia, limpia y calentita (hacia frio en la calle). Jabon, pael del baño, toallas… todo lo minimo para la estancia y mas. Una horita de camino precioso desde el aeropuerto de Zurich. Queda un poco alejado del centro pero hay autobuses cada pocos minutos GRATIS gracias a Giuseppe. Las duchas con agua caliente rapidísimo y con buena presión. El jardín es encantador y muy espacioso. A una calle del lago con un paseo precioso y cerca del la experiencia suiza de la aventura del chocolate. En coche a una hora en cada dirección encuentras toda Suiza. Nos pareció una localización PERFECTA para visitar Lucerne y toda Suiza. Giuseppe contesta casa de inmediato los mensajes y es muy amable. Lo recomiendo a cualquiera en busca de estancia en Suiza. We had such a lovely week at Guiseppe's house. It was very comfortable, and the location was stunning. The views! We came without a car and were a little nervous about that, but it was all so easy. So many hikes just steps from the door. Easy to walk to Sonogno for good food and more beautiful hiking, and there is also a lovely restaurant just down the road in Frasco. Also, the buses are up and down the hill very regularly and it picks up just a block down from the house. Only thing to know is to get any groceries in Tenero or in Brione.

Wir waren zu viert als Freundinnenrunde in diesem wunderschönen Haus und hatten eine rundum erholsame Zeit. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe und Geschmack renoviert – besonders das Fotoalbum zum Umbau hat uns sehr beeindruckt und zeigt, wie viel Arbeit und Sorgfalt hier hineingeflossen sind. Die Lage ist spektakulär: Der Blick auf die Alpen ist kaum in Worte zu fassen, und der Spaziergang zur Schmuusi-Bank unter der großen Linde ist absolut empfehlenswert – ein echtes Highlight mit Panoramablick. Auch organisatorisch hat alles super geklappt – die Gastgeber waren stets gut erreichbar und haben bei Fragen schnell und lösungsorientiert geholfen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können diesen besonderen Ort wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Everything about our stay was great! There were clear check in/out instructions, and we had no problem finding anything! We walked everywhere (max 20ish mins), so the location was good. The host went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth and memorable as possible. You can tell she put a lot of thought for her guests!

Can’t rate our experience at Janines place highly enough! She was so lovely and accommodating. Place was wonderful and Janine went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Would definitely recommend staying at Basecamp!

Eines der besten Airbnb Unterkünfte seit langem – wir waren zu zweit dort für eine Woche. Geräumiger Platz, sehr schick sowie stilvoll eingerichtet, und natürlich der Whirlpool auf der sehr großen Dachterasse ist ein Highlight - oder einfach mal den Abend vor dem gemütlichen Kaminfeuer verbringen. In direkter Nähe zu Fuß ist alles vorhanden (Geschäfte, Restaurants etc.) Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

This garden suite was so beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. The sunroom especially - it looks out to tulips and other flowers which feels very magical! I would recommend staying here! Easy commute into Bern, but all you need if you want some relaxation.

If you are looking to explore Central Switzerland then this place is a perfect place to use as a hub. The apartment was just as described and in fact more spacious than we expected. The views are spectacular over the lake and the mountains. The host was very helpful and responsive and was quick to answer all our questions. The location is easy walking distance to fantastic restaurants, the lake, the village of Weggis and the boat stop. We took the boat into Luzern which was absolutely fantastic. We would highly recommend the Appartment and will definitely return when back in the area.

From start to finish the Wicki family were very friendly and extremely helpful. always replied promptly to any messages and help where needed. definitely going back!

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

This apartment is the sort of place for which AirBNB was intended. Places that go beyond a cookie-cutter hotel experience and offer some combination of extra space for a family, a kitchen, a remarkable view, and/or some other set of components which make the experience "special". The apartment is as described in the listing, along with detailed instructions for everything including parking, use of the hot tub (which we didn't use), trash, what is available within walking distance, and suggestions on what to do and where to go. Two comments: (1) There is bus service with the stop directly across the street. However, the area is a bit more isolated (and hence peaceful) than staying closer to Interlaken and it's really a place where a car is preferred but not required. (2) Beatenberg is a tiny with only one other hotel+restaurant open during the week when we were there. Helps with tranquility, not for those looking for "party + night life". We loved it, but be aware.

About as perfect an airbnb as you can imagine. James's place is his own holiday home and you can tell by all the personality it has. We stayed for a week of skiing and found it an incredibly comfortable and relaxing place to call home. It helps that James did everything he could to make us feel that way. Couldn't recommend it more if you're after a place to unwind and are the sort of person who will take care of a place as if it were your own. Deserves no less.

This place suited all my needs. It is close the the forest with walking trails. It takes 2 minutes to the bus station where 2 buses depart every 30 minutes and only take 5-8mins.( depending on which bus) to downtown. The suite is in a very quiet and safe area, surrounded by lovely gardens. The suite had everything one needs and then some and was squeaky clean. I like that it had a motion detector and surveillance camera, being an older female solo traveler this gave me sense of security. Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Patrizia war hervorragend. Besonders die Kommunikation, die aufgeräumte tadellose Wohnung sowie die beiden grossen und gemütliche Balkone waren super. Die etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Kaffee Maschine, entspricht vielleicht nicht mehr den heutigen Bedürfnissen. ich war jedoch erstaunt wie gut der Kaffee mündete und dies ohne Kapseln. gerne wieder in der Wohnung von Patrizia .

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Zürich. Das Appartement entspricht genau den Fotos und hat einen hohen Standard. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher und die Lage ist perfekt gelegen. Alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Sehr schöne Unterkunft.

Great lakeside apartment in Vitznau with all the things you need when you're away from home. Judith was great about responding quickly to messages and left clear instructions in a nice book she put together for guests. Walking to the ferry station takes about 10 minutes and it's flat so it's easy to do even with luggage. It takes about an hour to get to Lucerne via the ferry but it's a nice scenic ride. Overall a great, quiet, place to stay with a really nice view and wonderful host. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Vitznau. Thanks, Judith!
