Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kern River

This was the second time my family and I stayed here. We love the pool, the spacious patio, and secluded location. We had a little issue but Nikki and the property manager Karen did everything in their power to resolve and fix things and they did. Karen was very responsive and helpful. Always a great place to stay.

Our stay at Angels Hill was great! The perfect place to unplug and relax as a family. We have young kids (1 and 3.5) and it was perfect for them! Lots of space to play outside, the shaded deck was perfect for the 1 year old, and lots of kid necessities included (high chair seat, pack and play, plastic plates, etc). We loved adventuring around to hike and play in creeks in the area. We plan to come back!

This "gorgeous cottage" was perfect for me and my daughter. Such a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood and close to Sequoia National Park which is why we picked it. Everything was very clean and the bed was top notch, very comfortable after a long day of walking and hiking. Joyce was wonderful to work with and always responsive when I reached out to her. We were trying to determine how to transport our lunch and asked about buying a cooler in Three Rivers and she offered to let us use hers with some ice packs. I would call that above and beyond. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family. The patio space off the kitchen was a wonderful place to relax and watch the birds. My daughter, who is an avid bird watcher, loved it. And the quail family nearby delighted us every day. Thanks for being such a great hostess and letting us use your beautiful cottage.

I had a wonderful stay! The highlight was definitely the stunning view—it was even better than the photos. Whether it was enjoying coffee in the morning or winding down in the evening, the scenery made every moment special. The space was clean, cozy, and just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. We had a wonderful stay—peaceful, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Sequoia National Park. The home was clean, an updated farmhouse, with thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. Our host, Staci is responsive and kind, and the quiet surroundings were just what we needed after long days of hiking. Looking forward to stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful home; the views of the hills and oak trees in the yard are beautiful, lots of wildlife, quiet road. Pool and sauna were great after time in the Park, and Three Rivers store/gas/food are very close. The home had everything you could need, and staying in a vintage home as well appointed as this was a unique treat. Thank you to hosts for making sure we were comfortable.

Tim and Jennifer’s place was lovely and I enjoyed my stay there. Everything was as described The fenced in yard was great for my golden retriever and the area is quite peaceful. There is a bit of road noise but I didn’t find it too disturbing at night when trying to sleep, however it may bother people that are sensitive to noise. Tim and Jennifer were great hosts and provided clear instructions. They also baked vanilla scones for us, which was a really sweet and kind gesture. I would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future!

It’s hard to put into words just how incredible this place is, I could write paragraphs. We use vacation rental homes a lot and this by far surpasses them all. So nice not to have to buy tp, paper towels, gbg bags, laundry & dishwasher det. and more but it’s all supplied. Beds are super comfortable, high-quality sheets and towels, and plenty of them, lots of extra blankets. Box fan in every closet, sound machine by every bed. So, so, so many extra touches beyond what I mentioned that go above and beyond. The place inside and out is both beautiful and serene. Could have happily spent a month. Only one small country store in the little town nearby so if you plan to do cooking and stay an extended time, definitely hit up a Walmart or a large grocery store before you arrive. Especially if you’re looking to get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing retreat, this is the perfect place whether you’re one couple, a family, or a group of friends. Owner should teach a class.

The apartment was home for almost 3 months and quite comfortable and very well equipped! lovely and safe location...loved that this apt was at very back! Laura herself was quickly responsive and a true sweetheart! ty again for making my time away from my flooded home comfortable!

Beautiful location. Can hear the water from the porch. Clean. Couldn’t have been better for attending the wedding across the street. It was perfect.

My husband and I went into town for a family event and we enjoyed staying here. It was perfect for us. The space was very cute and charming. The AC was amazing especially with how hot Porterville was. The host gave great directions with how to access the home. Overall, it was a great experience!
