Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kenai Peninsula Borough

Carrie brought homemade cookies when we checked in as well as a few footballs after she saw we had young boys. The pictures on the ad are a bit outdated but that means the place is way better than we expected as they have all new furniture. Very cozy cabin with all the needed amenities.

Love this little place. Lots of amenities, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the fish cleaning tent & outdoor freezer were impressive. Love the little fire pit outside as well. Everything was super clean and Megan is always super responsive. Thanks again for a great stay

This was the perfect base camp for our family of 6. We spent a week here, and it was easily one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The host thought of everything—from cleaning supplies to cozy bedding, new appliances and fast internet. The location is ideal: just a few miles from town, tucked away at the end of a peaceful dirt road. We saw moose every day coming and going from the house. There are great walking trails nearby, and it’s a great spot for any fishing family or anyone looking to enjoy the Kenai Peninsula. We’d absolutely stay here again. A prior review said they didn’t have a grill. They had a nice grill and outside lounge area with chairs.

This is our second time staying at this property. It is always clean, and the hosts are helpful and friendly. We hope to be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous home! The pictures definitely do not do it justice. The home is very well appointed, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were organized, easy to communicate with, and accommodating. We will be back for sure!

We so enjoyed our time at your home! Thanks for sharing. Every morning we’d continue to ahhh at the amazing view! Loved the stocked kitchen, extra blankets, and fans for noise. If you ever want an upgrade we’d suggest blinds in the master bedroom. Those of us with jet lag would appreciate it! But regardless it was all so warm and cozy and we would return! Thanks for your quick communication and welcoming us!

Maggie is a wonderful host. The apartment is immaculate, and has wonderful extra touches. The lighting is amazing, and everything you need is there!

Lovely little space on the first floor. Two comfortable queen beds - one firm one soft. Cozy furnishings. We were only here briefly for one night but would recommend.

Guys. This place was beautiful . It was comfortable. It was so clean. Sheets smelled clean. Would recommend . And holly was very good at communicating and explaining where to park . Would definitly book again another time ❤️

Everything went perfect. We were in Homer with our 3 kids to fish and explore the area. We have stayed at quite a few short term rentals and this one was near the top of our list. The view is just stunning! I appreciate all the items in the kitchen as well. Seriously- drop in before running to the store- the place is well equipped with cooking supplies! The grill also came in handy. Daniel was also very responsive to our text and helped us navigate some questions about the area before we arrived. The bedrooms have blackout curtains for those long summer days. Washer and dryer were super helpful after a long day of fishing. Can’t think of a single thing I would change! Wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our short stay at John and Hennie’s place! It was the cleanest place we have stayed in! The bathroom looked brand new and was squeaky clean!! The location was so convenient to the airport and the earplugs they provide would have been helpful if the airport bothered us but honestly we didn’t even notice it! Super nice people and super great place to stay!

Everything was exactly as what we expected. The location was perfect and having a washer/dryer was great so we didn't have to over pack. The 4 of us were very comfortable especially in those super comfortable king sized beds. A huge plus was that we never ran out of hot water even when we all showered back to back. The water pressure wasn't great but other than that everything was perfect.

The condo was in a perfect location, near restaurants and a parking place. The building has washing machines and dryers for doing your laundry. The price per load was $2.50. Stephanie’s condo was neat, clean and very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Very responsive and accommodating Great location

This was my first time staying at Jodi’s but it definitely won’t be our last! Great location near the heart of Girdwood and everything is in pretty minimal walking distance. Jodi was friendly, accommodating and the condo was spotless. HIGHLY recommend her spot!

Great studio apartment with great light/views, cool outdoor patio and essentials. Blackout curtains were perfect for long summer nights and the nearby train tracks are fun without being disruptive (the neighborhood is quiet). Very walkable to downtown—skipping a rental car and traffic was a huge plus.

Amazing stay & very helpful/responsive host. The place was even better than the photos. Provided everything we needed in a very peaceful environment. Close to the airport and restaurants. Wonderful stay!
