5 star Our stay was terrific! We found the stay lovely in so many ways: we had a lovely room, our breakfast was homemade and delicious, our every possible need was taken care of, and when the unexpected happened (a 7.2 earthquake farther away) and the tsunami siren alarmed- we were in the safe zone so we did not have to evacuate in the middle of the night. Thank you for everything! Our time in Homer was highlighted by our stay with Majestic Views!

Amazing stay! I loved how close it was to everything and the view from my room was gorgeous! If you’re going to the spa or resort area and not trying to spend a hefty penny for overnight stays, I’d recommend staying here! However, it is quite a small space so I’d only recommend it for solo travelers or couples! Definitely go to Jack Spratts (recommendation from the locals at the spa)! The Alaska Man burger was deliciousssss

This place was amaaazing!!! Don’t know how to emphasize it enough. Location- great! Near bars and restaurants. Downtown is a few steps away. Great park nearby too!

We loved staying at Clam Gulch Lodge. Gary and Pam were awesome hosts. The breakfast was amazing--reindeer sausage and biscuits with a beautiful bowl of fruit, and we really loved staying in the King Room. It's newly and beautifully remodeled with very comfortable beds and its own bathroom with two showers. We'd highly recommend staying at Clam Gulch Lodge and hope to return ourselves someday. We came to Alaska for a Memorial Day service for my deceased brother. Krista was so thoughtful in everything she did. Our stay was relaxing and fun despite the circumstances. The breakfasts were amazing and her restaurant suggestions never disappointed! We felt completely at home and well cared for. I can’t recommend them enough!

The Vue, East Room, was absolutely wonderful! It was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was huge and also immaculate with plenty of seating, all sorts of food and beverage options, and a beautiful, bright atmosphere. We highly recommend The Vue. It's one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Thank you, Ristine!

This space was fantastic! Very comfortable room. The hot tub was amazing after a long day on the bay! Will definitely stay here again!

JoAnna's property was very nice, she is remodeling so it will be wonderful when done, clean, quiet, and in an older neighborhood. Felt safe at all times. She is friendly, can tell you stories for hours about Anchorage and just a super person. I had a problem with my truck, she immediately began suggesting places she had personal knowledge of to get the truck fixed, offered to help, and even let me use her vehicle to get to work! You just don't see that kindness in most people nowadays. I plan on staying with JoAnna in the future, especially as I fly in to Anchorage from the bush every other week.

Beautiful property, felt like home! The grounds were incredible. Hosts were very kind and breakfast was a great treat! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The place seemed great, nice area, great to have a little breakfast in the morning. We were only there basically to stay the night, so we didn’t really settle in, but everything seemed comfy enough.

My mom had surgery and we needed a place to stay. All of the hotels were booked. Crystal was very helpful and made the stay very comfortable for us.

Donata’s place is as nice as she is. A wonderful home to relax in and get into the nature surrounding Anchorage. She spent over an hour introducing different aspects of her lifestyle in Anchorage (I asked), and was extremely attentive to our needs. The room is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is simply superb. This is one of the few times of my life where I felt sad to leave my location. I highly recommend Donata’s place, and I would happily go and spend a few months living there.

Kent's Place, the Stoney Creek Inn, looks brand new, like no one else has ever stayed there. He is a consummate craftsman. It is obvious the time, talent and thought that went into creating this beautiful accommodation. The breakfast provisions that were left in our room were very generous, and more than we usually find. The room we were in was one of 5 in the building. We enjoyed using the common area in the evenings. Only one of the three nights we stayed were there other guests. It is definitely a rural location, and a several minute drive to downtown Seward. We will definitely plan another stay in the future.

This home is so peaceful and serene. I felt very welcomed right from the moment I arrived.

I had an excellent stay with Ed and Renee! Both are terrific and kind hosts who also live in the home. Although it was a short stay, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to chat with them for 20 minutes or so upon arrival. The personal bedroom and shared bathroom were very clean and nicely appointed. There was plenty of shampoo/bodywash/conditioner and towels as needed. Their cozy home was easy to find in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The location was convenient for me, being just over 20 minutes from where I met my guide for a fishing charter the next morning on the Kenai River. They had some light breakfast options and coffee available in the morning. Can't say enough about how nice they were. I would highly recommend their place!

Eric and Sue keep a beautiful home! It’s quiet, cozy and beautifully decorated. They made an amazing breakfast every morning during our stay and it was nice to chat with other vacationers during breakfast in the kitchen. They gave us recommendations of places to go, things to see and do… they made us feel very comfortable - right at home! This was our first time in AK and we are so grateful to have been able to spend it at the Sterling Rose. Thank you, Sue and Eric!

Exactly what we needed for our 2 day stay in Anchorage. I stayed with my wife and son. The location is a walking distance to downtown restaurants and bars. The unit was clean and private. The common areas were clean and welcoming. Light breakfast provided is and excellent bonus. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Dana was so wonderful she picked us up from the airport and dropped us off and we were prepared to walk. Gave us a tour of the town so we knew where everything was and how to navigate the airstrips. Most of all we had to travel with our doggie and her place is dog friendly and also immaculately clean. Fully stocked with anything you may need. The view from her property made the trip.

Doug, Margie and Fish Camp Mike help create the trip of a lifetime. The lodge was lovingly built but Doug and family. Clever and unique. Margie is a master chef. The meals, spent around a hand built table were delicious. The wood burning hot tub and spa were a highlight for me. We also loved the day on the lake with Mike, fishing, hiking to a private water fall and hearing local history and lore from Mike. What an adventure! We will be back!

Ashly was wonderful and very accommodating. Homemade sourdough bread, chocolate chip cookies, and the breakfast were amazing. Seldovia Alaska is a majestic place .
