The renovated water tower is a lovely and clean home. There are large sliding doors on each floor that open up to give access to the outdoors or cool off the home. The main bathroom with a shower is located on the ground floor and comes with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There is also a hair dryer and many towels available. The bathroom on the second level was small and could be accessed through the main bedroom. The kitchen was bright and open. There was plenty of seating for the 4 of us, although the bench seat by the kitchen table could be thoroughly washed. Plenty of dishes and kitchen essentials. Washer and drying rack were a pleasant addition to the home and made traveling light easier. The rooms were cozy and the beds are comfortable. The stairs are steep but easy to navigate for our children (ages 7 and 9). The views from inside and from the deck are beautiful. The two birds nesting outside are quite friendly. Earlier guests named them Chuck and Larry.

The place is exactly as described. I loved that it was conveniently located in the city and a lot of things were very walkable. The hosts were very responsive and gave helpful tips about the area. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Iceland.

The ocean view from this home was absolutely stunning. The location was great, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops. The host was incredibly helpful. I had a wonderful stay!

A beautiful place at a beautiful and peaceful location easily accessible to Reykjavik and Thingvellir onwards to Strokkur. The house is clean, and as described. Unnur is easily accessible and respond to queries promptly.

We left for the airport in a 5:00 am rush and left my 3 year old son's favorite stuffy here. Łukasz mailed it back! What a good human! We really appreciated him going above and beyond. His place is very cute and clean too, with a nice bathtub, a great ocean view, and near an awesome local restaurant. Would stay again!

A stay at this lovely place gives you a high-end experience, no doubt. The house is spacious, clean, well organized, has super tasteful interiors, and a hot tub as the cherry on top! I was simply left with a "wow" after check in and seeing all the small details Thorunn pays attention to. She had made sure that we would not lack a thing, and the instructions she provided us with answered litterally every questions we had during our stay. What a perfect host Thorunn is! Highly recommend✨

Beautiful home, great host, loved the recommendations!

Convenient location for a night before our flight back to the US. Using the hot tub was an added perk after a week of hiking! We visited a nearby light house and walked the beach before our return trip.

Appreciate the last minute booking after another host cancelled on us. Location great to restaurants and the airport. A few repairs needed but did not impact us.

We absolutely loved this space! it was so close to everything in the downtown area of Reykjavik and the apartment was so cozy. Specifically we found the bed and comforter set to be really comfortable! The shared restroom was also clean and readily available. I highly recommend utilizing this space on your upcoming trip to Reykjavik!

This is a great place to stay for exploring Reykjavik and surrounding areas! The apartment is small and cozy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the view of the bay and the ability to enjoy the late sunsets. There are a few great restaurants just steps from the apartment and it’s very close to a grocery store. The apartment can be a tiny bit noisy from traffic if you have the window open, but when it’s closed you don’t hear much at all. Overall, we loved our stay and would stay there again!

Beautifully presented unit with everything a visitor to Iceland could want. Absolutely loved the travelling wifi made available and the wonderful tour suggestions. Johnny gave an extremely comprehensive overview of everything a traveller would need to know. We did two of the self drives he recommended and they were fabulous. Quiet neighbourhood and easy to find.

Our stay with Magnus and Gudrun was great. They were very responsive and accommodating to all our needs. With our infant, we felt like all our requirements were met. They went above and beyond to make the stay very comfortable. The location was great and it was close to the city centre. This was a great location and will choose this Airbnb/host again

The place is incredible! From the decoration to the ameneties, have everything! It has very good decoration and everything we needed and more! The hosts are incredible and had some chocolate and sparkling water to try, and it was amazing! I would recommend 150%! Best Airbnb I ever was and and better that a lot of hotel rooms. If you have the opportunity, don't miss out!

This place was amazing, it truly felt like home. It was walking distance to many restaurants, shops and bus stops. Very close to the airport as well so that was a plus. Host was very communicative and responsive when needed. Definitely recommend staying here.
