We enjoyed our holiday in Noordwijk with Daan and Mike very much! The place is modern and cozy. Cleanliness is also always taken care of. Beach and supermarket are within walking distance. A parking space was also organised for us. We would check in with Daan and Mike again at any time! Thank you!

We liked Brigitte's accommodation very much - small but very nice :) We were greeted with a small personal message and a surprise on the occasion of our anniversary. The location is good if you have a car with you (for the larger cities around it), you can walk to the beach in about 20 minutes but through beautiful dunes and you are directly in it in a few steps;) We felt very comfortable as a couple and would gladly recommend the apartment. Brigitte responds very quickly and kindly and has many recommendations for the area. A big thank you to Brigitte :)

We had a wonderful time. There are many small shops and restaurants in the area, and everything is very walkable.

Great location with the beach close by and a supermarket (Albert Heijn) open from 8-22. Daisy was super friendly and did everything she could to accommodate our needs. Lovely neighborhood.

Lovely apartment, very spacious and clean, super nice and considerate host, great views of historic Leiden (including the windmill!), close by all the sights in historic Leiden, wonderful outside patio. Would definitely stay there again!

Claartje's home is a happy place! We felt at home and loved the view of the small gardens from the dining room. There is a bus stop at the front door that is very convenient to take you to Leiden Central train station. Just plan well with the App 9292 or Google maps since the frequency changes on weekends or holidays. It is a very nice residential area, that felt pretty safe for walking, even when we miss the bus at night. We were three ladies but we felt there is plenty of room for five people. Claartje was very attentive, and her house a beautiful place to make beautiful memories at Leiden. Thank you!

Merith's place was great -- super cute and right on the canal. Many shops and restaurants close by. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there was a cool market across the canal, where you could get produce, nuts, cheese, fish, and a variety of goods. Her place is about 10-15 minute walk to the Leiden Centraal Station, which was very convenient. The public transport system in The Netherlands is excellent. We went to Amsterdam, Gouda, The Hague, Haarlem. And we were here during tulip season, so we went to Keukenhof Gardens twice. During this season, they run a bus from Leiden Centraal Station right to Keukenhof, easy. Merith's place was clean and well appointed, just as described. I recommend it!

We felt very comfortable, the apartment was quiet, very clean and cozy. Easy check-in and public parking directly in front, with charging station. Shell petrol station about 50 m away, Lidl 5 min walk away. There are also seating areas outside. We were disturbed by the fragrance lamps that were set up. The bed was comfortable and large, unfortunately there is no window in the bedroom that can be opened, but a ceiling fan. The bathroom was mini, as was the sink; storage space was available in a small high and sink cabinet. The ventilation must be switched on when showering. We would come back.

We were very warmly welcomed by Karin and her husband and also the contact during our stay there was very pleasant! Thank you! The two were very flexible with the check-in/check-out times. The house was very clean and there was nothing missing. It's very quiet and you can make great excursions by bike. Cycling through the beautiful flower fields was fantastic! You can also do the trips to the beach/sea by bike. There is great beach clubs with delicious food. The nearby town of Leiden is also worth a visit. Such as Delft, Haarlem or Utrecht. All well accessible by car.

Beautiful and tastful decorated house in a perfect location! Highly recommended! We stayed for 4,5 month and felt like home from the first day on. Maayke & Bauke were wonderful hosts!

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

Pretty and very quiet country location, yet an easy drive to places such as Kinderdyke, Delft, Amsterdam, Leiden and the Louwman Museum. As two couples we appreciated having 2 full bathrooms and the spacious living room.

We stayed in the cottage for a weekend. As we entered the village, we were overcome by a sense of calm. The water, the boats, the meadows, just wonderful. And all this just 15 minutes' drive from The Hague and Leiden, a prime location! The cottage was the icing on the cake. It was just refurbished, is very clean and is big enough for 6. The beds are nice and soft, slept very well. The garden and animals were on the private part, so we had no direct view of them. It was nice that we were able to take a look. We could send Stan a message at any time with questions. It was nice that he checked whether the self-check-in had gone well. We had some problems with the weekend reservation, but we could always count on Stan! A huge sense of hospitality. The attention on arrival was very pleasant. We had a great stay!

The house is very quiet and you can walk to the great sandy beach in a few minutes. There are some restaurants and beach bars nearby and by bike you can also quickly get to Nordwijk, where there are many bars, restaurants and shops. The beautiful garden and the terrace with table and chairs also allow you to have a nice evening in the holiday home and cook something delicious in the well-equipped kitchen. If the weather is not so good, you can also make yourself comfortable on the sofas in the living room or sit at the table and play cards. We felt very comfortable and were received very kindly by Nicky. She gave us some tips regarding restaurants, etc. and was also on time on the day of departure to say goodbye to us. Overall, a great short break, which we will definitely repeat when we get the chance.

We had a lovely stay at Nanette's! The accommodation was clean, lovingly furnished and exactly as described. The kitchen was very well equipped. The mattresses (we slept upstairs on the right) were also very good and we could sleep well in them. Nanette is a warm hostess who goes to great lengths to make you feel welcome. She also gave us many good tips for our stay. The house is quite far out. For us, the reason to rent this house. In the brasserie, which is within easy walking distance, there is a small selection of tasty dishes. A small supermarket can also be reached by bike in about 10 minutes. On some days (depending on the weather) there was a small odour problem in the bathroom from the drain pipe. Nevertheless, we will also consider renting this house in the future.

Pauline and Mèhdi are excellent hosts: their flat is beautiful and good value in a very convenient location on the canal, with a lovely view. They were very accommodating of my schedule and helpful when I was unwell. I highly recommend this place.

A very nice place in a great location. Everything is great to reach by bike or car. If there were any questions, they were always answered super quickly and always helped directly.

Great stay! The apartment is centrally located on a beautiful canal. Despite being on the ground floor, it felt very private. Quiet, lovely design, comfortable--and a very responsive and helpful host who went above and beyond. We hope very much to return again!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It had everything you needed. Wout gave us a lot of good tips and was always available. The apartment is spacious and clean. The location is also great! Everything great!

We had a very nice stay and felt very comfortable. The check in was super easy and it was well described where we needed to go. From there we could very well walk to the beach every day and get into town. We felt at home:)

Great bars and restaurants. Our favourites were: Borgman Borgman for coffee and brunch, de Twee Spieghels for drinks and jazz, Bar Olaf for local beer and cocktails. Great accessibility for Amsterdam and Rotterdam and dog friendly beach at Katwijk. We drove and parked using the MyWay app. Loads of electric charge points for cars. Download the Smoov app for most of them. Menno was really helpful and responsive. He also prepared us some great videos to help us settle in and left some treats on arrival. Not negatives, but just for info On street parking is expensive at €28 per day. In the end the best option we found was above the Hoogfliet supermarket at €16 a day. The main cabin bed was quite steep and high for us!
