Dee's place is absolutely stunning, set in a spectacular spot looking out toward the lake, located just on the outskirts of town, a very short drive and you're in the heart of Rotorua. Close to the Redwoods Treewalk, a must-do attraction! The space is warm and quiet making it a great spot for a weekend getaway. The little touches of breakfast foods and a welcome note made you feel welcome right from the start. I couldn't fault anything here so a very easy 5 star rating!

We LOVED staying here! The view was something else. The house was super warm. All amenities were clean and the house was cosy. This was only a short drive to the Redwoods. Melanie was really responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely little room with a great view. We went knowing it was a room on one end of someones home so no surprises (I think this may have threw some reviewers). Waking up with a coffee and the view over the lake made it so we had trouble finding the will to leave in the morning. The host was responsive and gave us our privacy also.

Hilary and Rob are fantastic hosts. Hilary is super friendly and accommodating. I simply inquired if there is a microwave at the place to heat up takeaway food (no big deal if there isn’t one), she went out of her way -and bought a brand new one before we checked in. We were amazed by her kindness and effort, we really appreciated it. The place is very peaceful with stunning view, highly recommended! 12 minutes away from the lake and super close to redwood forest was this beautiful spacious and private little space with great heating, well insulated, comfy bed and warm bedding and ample day light. The shower and the amenities were great and well thought off. Loved the small stove honestly a saviour for my morning tea ritual. Chris was super responsive and also accomodate a small delay in our check out timing. Over all 10/10 experience. Would recommend!!
