Hans and I rent out our lovely renovated cottage on the Wadden Sea. The house is big, spacious and cozy. There is a spa, activity room with table tennis, and large outdoor area. Distance to the Wadden Sea is 1.5 km and about 20 km to Rømø with wide white beaches. There are shopping opportunities in Skærbæk and Højer. There's peace and quiet, but with plenty of opportunities for excursions in the area. The area is part of the Wadden Sea National Park. In the fall you can experience "Black Sun". Possibility of two beds for children.

The "Haus Mellhörn" is located in an elevated position with high-quality equipment and with beautiful views of the large hiking dune with the unique Lister dune and heathland. One dog is also welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily accessible by day trip by car, train or boat.

From Humptrup, the North Sea is about 20 km away! The ideal starting point for day trips to the North Frisian islands and Halligen (e.g. Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Hooge, Oland, Hamburger Hallig). The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

You have breakfast in the morning sun with an unobstructed view of the mudflats. Later, you walk over my horse paddock and walk along the beach towards the north or south. Throughout the day, you will increase your radius and explore the island by bike. At the harbor, you get fresh crab salad for dinner.
