Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kalamazoo Township

Highly recommend staying here for a lake vacation! It’s a beautiful spot with easy swimming, kayaking, and fishing right out the back door. It was extremely clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and dishes. The beach towels and chairs that were available were so helpful to us. And Alanna graciously allowed us a late check out after our son’s baseball game so we didn’t have to rush. I will say, we had 4 adults and 5 kids (1 toddler) and this place certainly can accommodate everyone, but probably better suited for a family of 5-6 if you have to spend time indoors. But our kids even said they wanted to make this a yearly vacation spot.

For the second year in a row, we stayed at the Airbnb on Long Lake. When I got there, it felt like coming home. I told my husband this feels like a home away from home. I woke up every morning to the sound of birds, and saw turtles, geese, and ducks on the lake. The host always responded within 20 minutes of any questions I had to ask. We have already booked our stay for next month and will continue to do this for years to come. I cannot recommend this lovely home on the lake enough.! Enjoy😎

We loved staying here! Our hosts Kristy & Tony were polite & responsive. This was our best experience with an airbnb anywhere! We felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It felt like home, and it was outfitted with everything we needed! As soon as we arrived we felt as if we could have moved in and stayed forever, it was so cozy! The property itself is beautiful. We saw several deer, several raccoons, squirrels, and many birds. The creek was clean and peaceful. The hot tub was indeed hot and everything worked well. The bathroom was clean and stocked with soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and even extra toothbrushes which was wonderful as my wife forgot hers at home! The bedrooms were cute & had easy to access storage which was nice. However the best part of staying here was enjoying the kitchen. Not only is it well equipped with everything you would need to make any meals, it has a fantastic view! 10/10 loved staying here!!! We will be coming back again!!

Love this quaint house on the lake. We’ve stayed two summers now and call it the lake house. Love the views of the lake and the big back porch.

This beautiful Airbnb was quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. We truly enjoyed seeing various animals in their natural setting. The house was beautiful and spotless. It was comfortable and welcoming, allowing us to relax fully. Joe was very responsive and helpful, answering all our questions and making us feel at home. This stay was just what we needed during our busy move. In short, our stay was a perfect mix of peace, beauty, and great hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend it for anyone needing a peaceful break.

We were in Michigan for a girls trip and chose Holly's place because of the school house vibe and the hot tub. Two of the women are school teachers. Expect a 10-15 minute drive to South Haven for shopping, the beach, and food. It is pretty secluded in the woods. This is a very clean house with all new furnishings and well taken care of. Beds were comfortable, laundry items supplied, kitchen furnished, and we had a nice welcoming basket with bottled water and popcorn when we arrived. One thing we were curious was about the history of the school house so some reading material on this would be a nice addition to the TV stand. Very nice place to get away and have privacy. If I would change one thing it would be more window/door coverings in the living room and dining room so if you wanted to close them you could. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area, thanks Holly!

We stay in many, many airbnbs and we both love this one. It is very private and very peaceful. We were there 4 nights and we were sad to leave. The KS bed was super comfy.The view is awesome. Can’t wait to come back!

I stayed Thurs–Sun and couldn’t have asked for a better solo retreat. I run a wellness business and needed a change of scenery to rest, reflect, and reset. This space delivered all that and more. The home is spotless, everything thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is fully stocked with a separate pantry, which made it easy to cook all my meals. The soaring ceilings, sliding glass doors, and screened patio created the perfect indoor-outdoor vibe. I never even went to the beach, between the peaceful yard, woodland trail, and hot tub, I didn’t want to leave. My dog loved it too. Johnny and Michelle were responsive and kind, quick to help with a Wi-Fi question, then gave me space to unwind. Favorite moments: morning runs on Lake Shore Dr, sunset cocktail walks to Sundown Park, chill music on the Bluetooth speaker, and lunch at Penny Royal (the veggie sando = 10/10). If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated stay that feels like a proper reset, this is it. I’ll be back with friends!!

We had a wonderful stay at Christopher’s apartment. The house was very spacious, clean and tidy equipped with all the necessities needed. We highly recommend his listed. We promise you will not be disappointed.

Such a cute spot in a quaint little town. Apartment has everything you need and more and is conveniently located to coffee shops, restaurants, and retail. 10/10.

Beautiful house perfect for our girls getaway, however, it was s very tight squeeze for 12 since 2 adults on a double bunk didn’t really work but there was lots of couch space & the couches were so comfortable! The house was very updated & clean. It was perfect for our girls getaway & downtown Saugatuck was so fun!

This was our second stay at Hany’s place, and we would come back a third time! Nice house with a few quirks in a great location. The outdoor space and hot tub is great for Michigan weather any time of the year, and inside there is plenty of space for our family of four. The location is wonderful, with all of Saugatuck within just a few blocks. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we’re headed to Michigan!

We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

This place was awesome, a beautiful cottage in the woods with a fire pit, hot tub, walking paths, and just 5 minutes from downtown. My only feedback is about the room setup. The listing shows a room with two bunks, but it’s actually an open loft with one bunk bed. It’s not a private room, so don’t count it as a secluded space. When I book a house, it’s really important that everyone has a quiet room to return to, so I was a little disappointed that some guests got shorted on that. Honestly, it might have affected my decision to book. Otherwise, the stay was beautiful and peaceful, I’d definitely come back!

John and Valentino have a beautiful home that is welcoming and comfortable. Their yard is large and ready for company. The fire pit is perfectly placed, the bbq makes it easy to cook for a crowd. And if it is a crowd you’re cooking for, the weather need not matter… the two kitchens allow for lots of cooking no matter the time of year. Rarely do I find a comfortable bed when I travel, but John and Valentino have it. Downtown was a few minutes drive away. There is a large playground right downtown which had tons of kids playing! With lots of shopping and restaurant options, cooking is not required. Definitely stop by the Farmhouse Deli in Douglas. The home felt comfortable and also elegant. We were so pleased to stay with them and hope to do so again.

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.

This place was absolutely stunning in a beautiful location. If I ever come back to Saugatuck I will definitely stay here again.
