Holiday rentals with beach access in Kalamaki Beach

I really enjoyed my two nights in this apartment. It felt like home and the host could not have been nicer. He offered local recommendations and even offered a late check-out since it was off season. The apartment is a block from the beach, very comfortable, and has anything you would need. It's a 15-20 minute walk into old town, but plenty nearby for food or necessities.

We would stay at Olga’s place again. Olga was very quick to respond and accommodating.

Newly renovated, very clean and spacious place in the old town. Close to Free Parking (sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot, but we managed every time). Friendly and responsive host, and he went beyond with providing a guide with recommendations and leaving fruits for us. Thank you for the hospitality, Teo!

It was just great. Sea view from front balcony amazing- and second upstairs balcony very peaceful and warm (south facing) with nice views of mountains. Really near all shops and restaurants. Marinos so helpful and he. I was on my own and he arranged for his friend Xenofon to collect me from the airport and that worked really well.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at the end of October. The weather played along. For a week, nothing but sunshine and blue skies. The apartment corresponds exactly to the description. Great location, good furnishings and very nice reception at check-in. We also got good tips for restaurants and shopping. All in all, a clear recommendation! We would come back.

Holiday home from home. everything good. Vassilis very helpful with lots of good extras in room. Studio clean, bright airy, good WiFi with large kitchen area, Expresso coffee machine. Bathroom a tad small, but works. Sleep quiet with shutters closed, Beach 5 minutes walk. Bus stop to Heraklion and airport 3 minutes. Private parking space. We stayed in Zoi's apartment for 1 week. She was always available and always responded to messages. When we arrived late at night, she had put pizzas and ice cream in the freezer for us. For our breakfast, there was also everything we needed! The apartment has direct access to the beach and the old town of Rethymno is a 20/25-minute walk. Really a great place to stay with ocean views 🥰 always happy to come back!!

We spent a few nights in the apartment. It was perfect, the kitchen was very well equipped and you could actually cook (have never experienced this so well before), the beach location super, the contact with Zabia extremely friendly and uncomplicated. There were cute cats that visited us on the large roof terrace. We would definitely recommend the place.

Niki is a lovely host, happy to help with anything and very friendly. The home is nice, cool during the hot days and in good location near the beach and supermarket. I would stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Harry was very responsive and friendly. The house was really nice, just as described, and had everything we needed. The view is beautiful—if you wake up early, you can see the sun rise right in the center of the big window and watch it move all the way up. The location is good. We did hear some highway noise, and there was a friendly group of dogs that barked in the morning. But at least you could pet them they were sweet. The hot tub was nice. Although we didn’t use it as much as we thought we would. It’s on the roof, and since the house has a central spiral staircase, you need to come down it to get back inside. That made it a bit tricky with wet feet and the April nights were a bit too chilly to stay on the roof for too long after the tub. But we really enjoyed using the BBQ. Overall, we had a great time. Harry’s hospitality was top notch.

Absoutely Amazing Experience! The villa is amazing! Beautiful space which immediately makes you feel like home. Everything about our stay there was beyond our imagination. A little piace of heaven! This is not just an incredibly beautiful villa with a gorgeous garden and pool. There comes so much more with this stunning location, from the peaceful surroundings to Irina's attention to detail and kindness. If you are looking for a place to relax, recharge and enjoy Crete far from tourist spots in complete privacy this is your place.

We had a lot of fun at the house we rented in Rethymno! There was plenty of space both outside and inside, and the house had everything we needed. Very short distance to the beach, shops and restaurants made everyday life easy and rich. Hosting was very friendly and communication was quick. Lovely with a/c in all living rooms and nice patios where you could spend the evenings. Lots of good equipment for children there; beach toys, beach umbrella, balls etc. Would absolutely rent again.

Well-renovated apartment, very spacious and with every comfort available to guests. A beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where you can admire the sunset and a well-kept garden make it truly special. Vaia, Nikolas and the whole family immediately proved to be helpful and hospitable, we remember them with affection and sympathy.

Matthaios's place is a really nice and well equipped private house with private garden, very-very close to the beach, in a calm and quiet environment, we liked it here a lot, came with a baby, she had super nice naps :) We got a lot of help from Matthaios, any question I had he responded accurately.

Argyri and her husband were the best hosts I've ever stayed with, and the apartment was absolutely flawless: excellent location, close to the old city, restaurants and the beach The apartment had absolutely all the facilities: there was nothing we needed and not exist in the home. Furnished modernly and with great taste, the apartment is bright and welcoming, with a large terrace where you can drink coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts welcomed us with a cake, with fruits, wine and juices in the fridge, and upon departure they gave us local honey. Very friendly, they spent time with us and explained to us the best places to eat, what to visit around the city and in the city. it was everything I could have wished for and I can't wait to come back for a much longer period with my daughter. Very nice apartment in a very good location, close to the sea, shops and restaurants. The bed is comfy, the kitchen has everything you need. Marirena provided me with all the clear and accurate information as soon as I arrived. I spent almost 3 weeks there, a real joy, I would go back without hesitation! We've just had two wonderful weeks in Maro's apartment. Beautyful view over the sea and Rethymno from the large roof terrace where you can find sun or shade all day long. The apartment is very spacious and is equipped with everything you need. Katia was very helpful when we arrived late in the evening, and there was bread, butter, homemade jam, etc. in the fridge for next day's breakfast plus a bottle of water, a bottle of wine and of course raki :-) Katia also brought fresh fruit from the garden of Maro's parents during our stay. To everyone who wants to go to Rethymno: This place is worth every penny - rent it!

The apartment is perfectly located to explore the island, you are in the center of the island, immediately on the highway (recommendation: before moving in, be sure to practice driving backwards to the mountain!!) and yet the apartment is very quiet and has a great view of the sea. Especially the small balcony directly above the sea appealed to us, even if it might be a little too hot/not shaded in summer. Here you can also quickly make friends with the 4 cats, who occasionally also drive the neighbor dog to whiteness. Those who are afraid of cats should prefer to look for another apartment with these attached specimens, cat lovers will love it. Marianna's mother is a good soul, bringing eggs from the in-house chickens as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. All in all for us the perfect place to combine exploring the island with relaxation.

Best balcony in Rethymno!

Lovely studio with everything you need. Stunning view from the large terrace! Nikos was very helpful with directions and information! We stayed for 4 nights at Nikos flat and trully enjoyed the property and Rethymno! Thank you once again for making our stay memorable!
