Beautiful view of the vineyard and ocean beyond! Comfortable spot to wind down after a long trip- we especially appreciated the hot tub!

Beatiful location overlooking Auckland. Very secluded feeling. A morning coffee in the hot tub was an excellent way to start the day. Comfortable house. Amazing location.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect beach unit for our family including two young children. The team was very responsive when we arrived and were cold (we are from Queensland and visited in your winter season) they promptly brought us extra heaters which did the trick. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend going in the off season like we did was very quiet. The Hahei township was a quick walk away and we went in with the kids for Brekky and dinner etc. Highly recommend.

Wow, what a place this was. Stunning house right on the beach with amazing views. Megan and Craig were superb hosts and made us feel right at home and well cared for. Will definitely be back again!

The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and we were early - can’t put into words how peaceful it was to sit on verandah listening to the birds and surrounded by lush tree canopies. Everything we could need was in the kitchen and we catered for 4 adults using gas BBQ for steaks from local shops. The hill is steep but usual for NZ and easily walked (slowly) we are 61 and 64. Thank you Barbara for the lovely welcoming treats including towels for the dog 🐕 and the home grown bananas! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to return 💛

Good house on stunning / sheltered small Auckland beach - large living room; well set-up kitchen; two very pretty front bedrooms and a third smaller/quieter; two good bathrooms; great verandah with chairs/table. House is down a good but tall path from a quiet street and literally a few metres from the beach, which is sheltered/shallow (and quite popular on warm days at high tide but otherwise quiet). 5-15 minutes drive to Kohimarama / St Heliers.

wonderful 3 night stay in an area we didn't know. Zoe's place was very spacious, very clean, comfortable and quiet. we enjoyed our stay and will be back. thanks Zoe for allowing us to have Molly with us too. 😍

We really enjoyed our stay. You could picture happy family holidays spent in the cottage in the past. While the cottage has some age on it, it had all the facilities we required, the beds were comfortable, everything was really clean and in working condition. Being able to take the short walk to the beach to watch the sun rise each morning was great. Waking to the sound of bird song in the morning was special, as was having two NZ wood pigeons join us as we sat on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee the first morning. With the cafes and the Cathedral Cove shuttle only a short walk away, we were able to park our car securely beside the cottage and leave it there. It suited our style of travelling.

Great location, very quiet, peaceful, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio and watching the sun set and birds and even a couple bunnies. House was very quiet and a great size for our family of three.

Very nice and quiet place, clean and full of light areas inside, comfortable sleeping. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of things for breakfast and cooking, excellent devices throughout. The weather was just perfect, so cannot say anything about the aircon as it was not needed, but the double-glazed windows suggest that the place is well-protected against less friendly conditions. The host provided us with valuable info and was very easy to communicate with. Many thanks to Jason - it was a wonderful time!

Kelly was wonderful - friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. The tiny house has everything you might need. Be warned that the bedroom is not for the very tall, but we aren't, so it was just fine :-). There is no central air or heat, but plenty of individual fans, heaters, and an air conditioner were available, so it wasn't hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. The surroundings are gorgeous, and we loved waking up to all the birdsongs. The long drive from the main road is a wee bit dodgy, but we quickly got used to it. I enthusiastically recommend this host/lodging, and I would definitely stay there again if I had the opportunity!

We had a brilliant stay at Elliot's lovely property. The location was amazing for our purposes - visiting a relative in hospital - its walking distance and the off street parking was perfect. Its also so handy to everything and a lovely outlook to the domain. The property was just as the photos show - really clean and homely feeling. Elliot also kindly advised us about using the heatpump as a cold snap came through while we were in Auckland - much appreciated as it made the house nice and cozy. We would definitely book with Elliot again - was a great stay. Thank you - John

This place is what makes Air BnB a good platform to use when travelling as you can find little gems like this in secluded places. The cottage was pretty much spotless, had all the amenities we needed to cook breakfast, lunch & dinner daily and the kids toys, books and games were an added bonus. The views from the living room and bedrooms are beautiful and having a fireplace to warm us up at night was the cherry on top. One of our favourite Air BnB's we've ever stayed in.
