Stayed 1 night while attending a wedding nearby, google maps took me to the address without any problems, location looked just like the photos, gave me a perfect spot to recover from travel with some nice peace and quiet

River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. Peaceful and private setting. The house was spotless and nicely decorated. Nicely stocked kitchen. The living room furniture is incredibly comfortable and the big screen tv was very nice. Nice place to stay!

My sister was visiting from Canada so we decided to head to Virginia to hit some wineries and breweries. We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s place! It looked just like the photos, was clean and cozy, and a perfect place to unwind at the end of the night with a glass of wine. The hosts texted us recommendations of stuff to do in the area and we had an amazing time. Great couch and TV set up, very comfortable beds, and beautiful wooded surroundings. Highly recommend for any trip to the area!
