An absolutely remarkable stay. Clean and spacious rooms overlooking the lovely garden. Ramesh and his lovely family took very good care of us, and the food offered was of high quality and lovingly cooked. Ramesh also took care to book our safari tickets, and basically helped us with everything that needed helping. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and comes highly recommended for your visit to Corbett!

Where to start.. the place is amazing beautifully designed and furnished. With an amazing view of the surrounding hills. The staff Manoj and the team were very helpful in helping a tourist navigate the area and sorting out taxis etc. The food from the chef was delicious and I felt like I was eating like a king. Shampa was and continues to be very generous in guiding me on my travels through India with lots of suggestions and connections to her friends around the country. I can highly recommend a stay at the Umri.

The Minivet Perch is a hidden gem! I don’t know why it is still not popular on airbnb and why doesn’t anyone know about this place and this property!! I loved everything about this place from the peaceful forest view to the cozy room with a private kitchen and and just in awe with my terrace view. As a female traveler, I felt super safe and completely at home here. I did the waterfall hike, went on a jungle safari in Sonanadi, and even joined a village tour, it was all amazing. The host is really kind and helpful, and the whole place has such a calm, healing vibe. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for nature, peace, and a real break.
