If you want to experience other places in the municipality or want a day trip to Stavanger city, it is a 3 min walk to the bus stop for public transport. Nice view of the lake and islets. Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.
