This was our third stay at A Place at the Beach and this was by far our best experience! The listing looks exactly like the photos and Season is such a great host! The unit’s location is perfect, close to the action but far enough away to stay peaceful. The pool and ocean views were amazing to wake up to each morning! I can’t imagine a better spot for a small family vacation!

Super nice place! Very clean & cozy! The only down side was the walk to the beach, which didnt bother me but for my 3 year old and my dad (arthritis/heart issues) it was a bit of a walk. But other than that i would highly recommend this be a place you choose to stay if visiting the area!

The condo was spotless and beautifully appointed. The location is facing the beach with easy elevator access to the 3rd floor. Access to the beach itself was very easy— a primary consideration for one of our party with limited mobility. We appreciated the recycling, limited use of plastics, and eco supply of body wash in the bathrooms. Instructions were clear and everything was beautifully organized. We really enjoyed our time here.

Hands down, this condo gets a 10 out of 10! It was clean, beautiful decorated. The beds are so comfortable. Plenty of seating inside and outside on the back porch. It had everything we needed and more! We will be back!

If you like being right on the beach, this place is for you. Beautiful moon scapes at night. Very quiet area of the island.

Love, love, love! Everything as described, extremely clean and super easy access to the beach. Extra amenities all very thoughtful and so appreciated! All ramps to access beach which was perfect for my jogging stroller with my littlest! Highly recommend!!

Carrie was so helpful and her place is beautiful. Perfect for two couple or a family. The library was a wonderful touch. The beach chairs were also great!

Amazing oceanfront property! Walk from the living room to the deck to the beach! Good sized kitchen with lots of necessities. I think the only two ‘negatives’ would be the lack of bathrooms (which was clear in the description) and the ac not being able to cool the place down to an acceptable sleep temperature (like 69). Otherwise, this place was quiet, great location for bike riding, endless ocean views, and plenty of room for everyone!!!

Ashley was an excellent host, willing to accommodate our special needs and quick to respond. The place isn't huge, but it is cozy, dog friendly, well accommodated and a half-hearted stones throw from the beach. Would definitely come back.

Quiet area, clean place that had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Reached out with questions a couple times and got almost immediate response each time.

Prime location, right in the middle of the waterfront area. The place was as advertised, definitely on the small side but not a surprise as they clearly communicated the square footage, didn’t feel cramped. Great amenities as well, loved the rooftop deck for evening cocktails prior to dinner.

Island Inn provided my wife and me a great little place to stay for our weekend getaway! Short walk to the beach, and plenty to do around the area! Definitely a great idea for a short stay.

This place is very well appointed - anything you might need was there! It's a lovely space, nicely decorated in an oceanside theme, spotlessly clean, with comfortable furniture and a comfortable bed. The owner offered access to a nearby recreation center, and we would have loved to but it was very much a working weekend for us and we did not have time to take advantage of that. There's plenty of parking available and getting in was quick and easy. Highly recommended and would rent again next time we need a place in the area!

My family & I had a great stay, beautiful home with everything we needed. Dawn was very responsive and helpful. We saw lots of deer and squirrels, moon over the river was beautiful. A great retreat after beach days and running around New Bern.

Unique place to stay in a great location.

We loved staying at Shari’s place. Proximity was close to the pool. Walking distance to the beach. House was clean and pretty much had everything you would need to cook. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was perfect for my husband and I. There were so many thoughtful touches that we appreciated like the welcome gift, extra plush towels, fan, and super comfortable bed! The room was exceptionally clean as well which is always important. The room had everything we could have needed! We can’t wait to come again and stay here. Sarah’s property was the perfect location! Easy walk to the beach, and easy drive to all the surrounding attractions. This trip was a perfect mix of just relaxing on the beach and sightseeing around the area. The different restaurants, and bars around the area will have something for everyone. My wife and I spent the week there celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary, and Sahara had recommended great restaurants for dinner. We chose table 9 and it was delicious! We are already planning our trip back next year!

We had a wonderful stay here! The condo was very clean and spacious. We had a newborn with us and were able to easily fit her pack and play in the bed room. It is a short walk to the beach and a nice peaceful area. We will definitely book here again! Thanks for a great weekend!

Leslie’s home was amazing to stay at. My family and I had an amazing time. The space was much larger than I thought it would be and Leslie was very responsive and helpful. I will definitely be staying again!

Had a wonderful time it is this perfectly located beautiful condo!! Host are so efficient and have everything easy during your check in and through your stay. Their place is beautiful and clean. Our family enjoyed our stay only problem is we didn’t plan to stay long enough!!

We absolutely loved staying at Julia’s condo. The space was clean and so comfortable, it smelled amazing when we arrived! The community has beachfront access with a great spot to rinse your feet on the way back in from the beach. Instructions were clear and Julia reached out to let us know our check in/out times were flexible and gave a great recommendation for a local restaurant. She was also so sweet to give us a sun hat for our 8 month old daughter to use at the beach :’)

We enjoyed our stay at Bee and Joe's. It looked just like the photos and everything was so clean. We took our 2 yo and 8 yo and they absolutely loved it. It felt like home and the kids room was the perfect setup with the bunk beds and trundle. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean from the condo. We could also see the ocean from the main bedroom windows. The washer and dryer were very handy. The location is amazing and close to so many places to eat. It's very close to Surf City and other great surrounding areas. The beach is literally steps away and made it so easy to go back to the condo if we happened to leave something behind or someone had to use the restroom. Bee and Joe were very responsive. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.
