Holiday rentals with a pool in James City

We had a great time! we rented the home to visit family who lives in town location is a short drive to all restaurants. 30 min drive to the beach, or spend the day by the pool. Clear instructions left for care of the home.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Terry is an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to accommodate a special request and made sure we had everything we could possibly need and more for the perfect stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the cabin is so charming. We would absolutely book again and recommend anyone else to do so!

Great place. Right next to clubhouse. Being able to use the club amenities is a major plus. Had a round of golf which was great. Nice view of the marina. Not busy even on Memorial Day. Good value. Would book again.

The house exceeded our expectations. There is beach equipment/towels available for guests, along with a rise off area by the garage. The kitchen is fully stocked compared to other air bnbs I've stayed in. Check in/check out is super easy and the responsive hosts created a helpful guidebook to answer all questions and even included restaurant/activity recommendations. The walk to the beach access was much shorter than we thought from the map view, so this is a perfect location in vicinity to the beach. The house was spotless when we arrived, all of the linens are high quality and cleaned very well. The mattresses and pillows were also extremely comfy! We've decided that Topsail will be our regular beach spot and we'll be staying here whenever possible!!

Our stay at Alex Moore was beyond my expectation! We had fantastic time, the place felt like home. It is quaint, cozy, beautiful and super clean. The location is perfect. It is within walking distance to the intercoastal, we can walk to many good restaurants, we can watch boats and enjoy life music. The bonus is this house is located in quiet neighborhood. The house has everything we need, very clean and modern kitchen! My children really enjoyed the pool and media room. We can drive 10 minutes to Emerald Isle and with the free parking provided, we were able to avoid the crowded area. Mike is a great host, we appreciate his hospitality and professionalism. We plan to rent this place again if we go to NC. Thank you for making our vacation more memorable and enjoyable.

We (myself and 7 family members) stayed at Matthew’s for a wedding. The place slept the 8 of us comfortably and was gorgeous. We had a fantastic time and will be in contact again in the future!

This is a special place - relaxing, peaceful, beautiful and accommodating. Everything was just as described and the pictures accurately represent the property. Fully stocked kitchen, crock pot and all. The space is nicely appointed and there were several places inside and outside the home our group of 9 could easily congregate. Incredible location, you really don’t even need to leave the house. We would love to visit again.

I had a really lovely time! I wasn’t in the condo very much; spent time on the beach/ at the pool/ exploring Morehead City and historic Beaufort, which were super close drives. It was only a few minutes to walk to the beach, and having the pool right there was also super nice and relaxing. I utilized the beach cart to bring things with me which was super helpful. Having body wash/other amenities like extra toothbrushes and toothpaste was also very thoughtful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay-it was quiet and relaxing.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was perfect for my husband and I. There were so many thoughtful touches that we appreciated like the welcome gift, extra plush towels, fan, and super comfortable bed! The room was exceptionally clean as well which is always important. The room had everything we could have needed! We can’t wait to come again and stay here. Island Inn provided my wife and me a great little place to stay for our weekend getaway! Short walk to the beach, and plenty to do around the area! Definitely a great idea for a short stay.

The condo was spotless and beautifully appointed. The location is facing the beach with easy elevator access to the 3rd floor. Access to the beach itself was very easy— a primary consideration for one of our party with limited mobility. We appreciated the recycling, limited use of plastics, and eco supply of body wash in the bathrooms. Instructions were clear and everything was beautifully organized. We really enjoyed our time here.

If you like being right on the beach, this place is for you. Beautiful moon scapes at night. Very quiet area of the island.

Wife and I have been to Emerald Isle for the past 30+ years…Diane’s Dream is the most amazing accommodation in my opinion with a magnificent view of the ocean, well appointed kitchen and amenities, texts to check on you to see if you having the most enjoyable time and available to check in when told! Would give more than 5 stars but that’s the most I could give! Highly recommended!

My husband and I loved staying at this beautiful beach condo. It is super cute! We loved the beachy vibe and all the little nautical touches. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony view and the short walk to the beach.

Great place and host! Location is great and we walked to the beach everyday. We liked the overall quietness of the area too.

Our stay at Shipwatc Village was amazing. Colleen communicated with us before our stay and provided specific details. The property was furnished simply which we appreciated. The linens were great. We enjoyed having the Turkish towels for the beach and pool. The waffle bathroom towels were very nice. There were plenty of towels for a week's stay. The kitchen was fully supplied with ample dishes, glassware, utensils and cookware. The walk to the beach and pool was quite easy. We met up with four other families staying at the property and the ease of sharing meals, beach time and pool time was a blast. Until next time!
