We had 2 family groups. One of us stay downstairs in the aquarium room and the other stayed upstairs in Picasso room. Both were clean and comfy. The upstairs room needed the window A/C unit that was suppied, becuase otherwise it is a bit stuffy on a hot days. The downstairs room has central air already. The house is clean and smelled great. We will stay again

Very unique place, loved the spacious deck and comfy deck chairs to watch the sunset and river. Such peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Very well cared for property and built beautifully. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay. Gary welcomed our dog too, it was so nice to have a host that was so welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

One of, if not *the*, best Airbnbs labeled as a "Hostel" I've ever stayed in. Clean room, didn't feel worn down, and had some very nice touches. The light switch on the wall for the bunk bed was unexpected and wonderful. Other "hostel" type Airbnbs have been smelly, run down, and had tenants that didn't respect the space - Not the case here on my visit! Two notes (first is just a thought, second is some critique) - this room is quite small. It appears to be a converted laundry room, so the bunk bed takes up about 3/4 of the space, not a lot of room to move. I had no issues though! Ventilation in the room could be better. There is a door that leads outside that I cracked to get some airflow.

Marsalis was a fantastic host and his home was lovely! The space is well taken care of, nicely furnished, and the attention to detail is exceptional. Marsalis had clear communication about everything and my stay was exceptional. The neighborhood is also truly gorgeous. Overall, a wonderful experience.
