Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Island of Ortigia

The area of the room is very quiet, the room is as described by the owner, clean and very cozy rooms with some complimentary snacks and drinks. We had a great time

Our stay at Respiro Greco with Ramona and Salvo was simply wonderful. From the first moment, we felt warmly welcomed and very well taken care of. The location is ideal – supermarkets, cafés, and small shops are nearby, and beautiful beaches like San Lorenzo, Noto Marina, and Fontane Bianche are only a short drive away. The historic center of Syracuse with its sights and excellent restaurants is also quickly reached. Ramona and Salvo were always available, very kind, and helpful. Their recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and places to visit were perfect. The homemade cake for Easter was a lovely surprise. The apartment was extremely clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. The pool was well maintained, Wi-Fi was strong, and the Smart TV offered Netflix and Amazon Prime for cozy evenings. Syracuse’s culinary offerings were a true highlight. If you want to fully enjoy Syracuse and its surroundings, staying longer is highly recommended. We will definitely return!

Ale and Paola were very nice and flexible with our stay (both check in and check out) their home is beautiful, quiet and comfortable. There are several spaces to rest and share with your family or friends. The garden is beautiful, the terrace is super rich for a drink while watching the sunset or eating on the table outside getting a little breeze. The photos are just like the house, it has everything you need and they as hosts helped us with very interesting recommendations. The house is located in a strategic place from which you can visit various places like Noto and Ortigia, in the latter we took a boat ride with a friend of Ale. We also went with Salvatore, also recommended by Ale, to his wine bar to have some delicious wines, hams, cheeses, olives and pizzas made by Salvo! We would definitely come back to Ale's place and follow his recommendations! Thank you for everything :)

We enjoyed our stay, the hot tub at night was perfect. There is not much to do at the house but the garden area is relaxing. We did not get to explore the beach area but did enjoy Vista Mare Ognina restaurant a short walk away from 5E Villa. Stefania provided so much information about the area and Ortigia, it was very helpful since we had only 2 full days to explore. It is an easy drive to Ortigia. We also enjoyed Antica Corte dei Bottari in Ortigia. We were some of their first customers for the season! The owner was very friendly, the restaurant beautiful and food delicious. Try the deconstructed cannoli made with maple syrup! 5E Villa is great for a family or group of couples. The bathrooms were spectacular! The beds comfy and the living space beautiful, just as pictured. 5E Villa is the only Airbnb where we cooked a full meal! The cooking equipment etc was great. Divertirsi!

She is the best host ! Very helpful with everything, I loved the home. I had no worries while I went had our stay! I recommend this play for everyone! My daughter learned to swim in the 3 days we stayed ! Very family friendly and even my sweet pup loved running around !

We loved Cristina's villa! Beautiful Sicilian decor, amazing pool and garden with hammocks. Her homemade dinner was our best meal in Sicily. Cristina is a wonderful host - always helpful with local tips. She and her son live on the lower floor, which isn't completely clear in the listing but actually enhances the experience as she keeps everything perfect. Highly recommend for an authentic Sicilian stay!

You immediately feel like a Sicilian in this beautiful and quiet villa with a lot of space inside and in the garden. The pictures correspond exactly to what you expect. Good and safe feeling. But you definitely need a rental car to explore the area. We also spent some evenings on the terrace while grilling and in the whirlpool. Clear recommendation!

The location is fantastic. The cleanliness of the place is spotless. All kitchen utensils and appliances are in perfect condition. There were very nice crockery and wine glasses, no mixed machine. Although the hosts live in the same house on the upper floor, we had full privacy and direct sea access on the terrace. I enjoyed the beautiful pots with well-kept plants, as it is often not the case even in good hotels. For sports enthusiasts: There is a several kilometer long bike/hiking trail along the coast about 500m from the accommodation, with spectacular views from the rocks. It starts at Monumento ai caduti d'Africa. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant Meditè suggested by the property, the food was the worst of our Sicily trip. I would highly recommend "a Levante" where we ate twice on the terrace for lunch.

the villa is magnificent, well cared for and equipped with all the comforts. The kitchen is super equipped, with numerous welcome gifts from the owners. Everything is really perfect and even better than described. Marco and his brother are very kind people, in a way and above all available to them . An experience I recommend to everyone!

beautiful villa. There is a piece attached which is not yet in the pictures so you have a second large sitting area with extra dining table. upon arrival, everything was explained very clearly. Even though it was April, we already had a lovely swim in the pool. good beds and free cots. very nice kitchen. communication goes very smoothly. We had a top vacation!

Absolutely incredible hosts. Gave great recommendations for car rental (if you are not Italian btw make sure to get an international drivers license before you arrive it’s easy to get online), local restaurants, beaches and shopping. Beautiful home, clean, private exactly as listed. You will need a car for your stay if you plan on getting groceries, get to bathing areas of the beach and restaurants. The hosts are amazing and can help arrange this. I really can’t emphasize enough how wonderful of a stay we had with the home and hosts!
