Holiday rentals with breakfast in Island of Ortigia

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and found Vincenzo a superb host. The apartment suited my needs perfectly and is superbly located for the public transport, Ortigia, bars, shops and restaurants.

We had a great time staying with Ennio! The house is charming and the host even more so! Ennio was very friendly and helpful and he makes a great cappuccino. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back.

Evaristo and Giovanni were fantastic hosts, what can I say... more!!! Super welcoming and helpful, kind, nice, witty and never intrusive. The apartment is very spacious as is the room and the private bathroom. They welcomed us with a great dinner... a delicious surprise. 5 stars are not enough for the review, it would take double that. We're taking the warmth of their generous hospitality back to the North. Highly recommended.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very unique place, much larger on the inside than it appears outside. Pros:. Clean, spacious, 15 minute walk from Ortigia, usually plenty of street parking close to the apartment, 15 minute walk to a grocery, independent air conditioning in the main bedroom(which was a godsend), washer in the apartment (use the 15 minute wash, otherwise it takes forever), oven, dishwasher, freezer/fridge, water in the fridge on arrival, a bath pouf and sweets in the bedroom on arrival, you CAN walk to the Archaeological Park and the Catacombs, but it's maybe a 30 minute walk. Possibility of sleeping 6( 2 beds, sleeper sofa), which would make this a fantastic deal! Cons:. The bed was a bit firm for our liking. Granted, it was better than the one we slept on in Agrigento, but still too firm for us. So, if you like a fluffy bed, this is not for you. By the 3rd night, we had gotten used to it. Daniele Is a very sweet man. He also owns a coffee bar 5 minutes away in the Piazza. It usually took him an hour or so to get back to us when we had a question, but it was never anything pressing. There is an alarm system in the apartment that would randomly beep on occasion. Not sure why. I suggest taking the hop on hop off your bus. It's only 5 EU, goes to all the places your gonna want to go, and you can catch it about 5 minutes from the apartment. I do not recommend a restaurant called Top 13. We went there because it was close and were tired of walking. Even though they had a full menu, we were only allowed to order pizza. It's not that the food was bad (it was ok), I just don't like being taunted with a full menu but told only pizza.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cristina's apartment. It was in a perfect location in the historic core of Ortigia. Clean, modern. nicely decorated and exactly as pictured. We are also Airbnb hosts and appreciate the care and thoughtfulness of our host. She was proactive and responsive. We did not have any issues. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend staying in this place and lovely Ortigia.

Well located apartment for visiting Syracuse (15 min to Ortigia). It is brand new with many amenities available. The hosts are very responsive and full of good attentions. Breakfast is included. Small downside, few windows in the apartment. In addition: a hot tub!

A beautiful villa in a great location and Francesco was really helpful and accommodating. Just be wary of the stairs if you have young children!

We spent two nights with Ennio! He is a great host, very firendly and helpful. He lended us two bikes so that we could conveniently get to the center of Sirakusa - the bike ride is a beutiful experience in itself. He also invited us for breakfast where we could try the selection of sicilian jams! That was a WOW! He gave us local recommendations for places to visit and even gave directions to the beach. I warmly recommend staying at his place!

Siracusa is a gem for relaxing! And We enjoyed staying there! Venere was wonderful and so so helpful! Highly reccommend

Michele was very friendly and very flexible on our arrival and departure with a lot of services rendered during our 3 night stay. The kids really enjoyed the choice between the hot tub and the pool. Namely, the kitchen is separate from the accommodations and the sink with the water is outside but you get used to it and no worries when the weather is nice. Thanks to Michele for these few days, we feel that she really enjoys sharing communicating and doing a service for an easy stay.

Mariella's place was not only spotless and beautifully furnished, but it was located in an ideal location to fully enjoy and explore Ortigia! The apartment was close to the water and only five minutes' walk from the square. We loved staying there and already plan to return the next time we vacation in Sicily!

Very clean and comfortable home away from home. Someone look for the place away from touristic area then here would be a right place. Near by there are big supermarket and locals favorite restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops. Easy to walk to Ortigia and great morning and evening walk about 15 min The place is wider and better than the photos. We stayed 4 nights and very satisfied! Thanks a lot!

Salvo was a great host. Responded quickly to communication and went above and beyond what is expected. Really appreciated his help with storing our luggage. The apartment is only a short walk to the city center and Ortigia and was good value for money. The free breakfast at a local cafe/bar was lovely and a real bonus.

5 stars!! Wonderful Airbnb with everything you need. Beautifully furnished with a modern flair. Comfortable beds, cute terrace, modern kitchen with complimentary breakfast, coffee, juices, and Prosecco! Very quiet apartment even though it’s right around the corner from Piazza Duomo. I stay in airbnb's 70-110 nights per year. On this trip I'll stay about 55 nights, 32 of which were here. Laura responds VERY quickly to messages. Literally the fastest I've ever seen. The apartment is very clean with great high ceilings. We had a number of issues (not the host's fault) and Laura was flexible enough to work through them with me. I would stay here again.

Fausta and Elio's place is an enchanting world. They are editors and share their love of literature with us. Their apartment is in their image: welcoming, bright. The books and the collection of writing machines set the tone for a very pleasant stay. And don't forget breakfast! Our hosts are keen to spoil us with a real tasting of local, organic, delicious products.

We loved our stay at Tiziana's place! It was such a BEAUTIFUL property with lovely accommodations. Tiziana was super responsive and helpful and very accommodating of our schedule. We would recommend to anyone hoping to explore Siracusa (~20 minutes) or Catania (~20 minutes).

Roberto was immediately friendly and provided us with numerous directions and tips for spending unforgettable days. Roberto is an exquisite person, the apartment is very nice with a sea view, a comfortable bed, private parking, a pebble beach in the immediate vicinity and breakfast with a sea view. What more could you want? Thanks Roberto.

The room is new, well furnished and comfortable. Very spacious bathroom. The bed could risk it to say it is better than our house. Super nice host, attentive to needs and ready to give useful advice. The breakfast bar is also super, the brioche with the ricotta will not be easily forgotten. Thank you very much. If we go back to Syracuse we will definitely stay here again.

Thank you for everything! We felt very comfortable! Perfect quiet air conditioning for sleeping. Beautiful, well-kept bathroom. Fantastic view from the roof terrace and delicious breakfast! We were very kindly received and cared for and felt very comfortable. Great location at the end of the pedestrian zone and only a few minutes to the swimming area!
