J’ai passé un superbe séjour!!! Miriam a été très accueillante et gentille!!!😊Elle a pris le temps de me suggérer des activités du coin et était très disponible. La Cabana était très bien équipé et très propre, la piscine aussi et le lit très confortable!!La vue arrière est belle sur la jungle , il y a même des hawling monkeys qui sont venus faire leur spectacle juste devant la galerie! Wow! On entend un peu les voitures passer sur le chemin à coté mais l’endroit est quand même tranquille avec des beaux sons de la jungle. La Cabana est un peu plus loin de la ville ( ce qui fait partie de son charme aussi) c’est une belle longue marche à faire avec un bout à marcher sur le bord de la mer. 2 vélos électriques sont disponibles à louer sur place directement à la Cabana , aussi il y a plusieurs taxis, bus, location de scooter VTT etc comme moyen de transport! Il y a pleins de possibilités😊Bref je recommande cet endroit et MERCI encore Miriam pour tout! J’ai adoré mon séjour ♥️

This is the place! I stayed here during 2024 for several months running my business entirely on Vidans Starlink, enoying a fully offgrid luxury gem built with mediterranean style. All interior is high quality, the kitchen is more than spacious and invites for hangouts after a day snorkelling around the properties private beach. There is nothing to miss here and Rubiel the housekeeper living close by will occasionally get you fresh Lagostas right out of the reef or Bananas from the jungle. You can also ask Rubiel to take you snorkelling out to Bird island with his boat. The house comes with plenty of privacy and an abundance of jungle around you. parrots, monkeys and dolphins pass by and the bench on the shore facing Costa Ricas mountains allows for stunning views into sunset. If you dont't have a car, a taxi connects well into Bocas town for 25 bucks and there is local bus within 15min walk. 6 out of 5 stars and I will be back later this year for an extended stay with friends.

10 Star Rating in our book!! Our stay at the Pool House at Paunch was exceptional to say the very least!!! First of all, Joanna is not your average host... she goes above and beyond in every way! She communicated with me multiple times before our trip and was open to any questions I had. She provides her guests with an invaluable amount of information which 100% made our trip beyond our wildest imagination! She provides this info via a link that can be printed for your reference which I HIGHLY encourage everyone do. We used this information everyday as a guide. EVERYTHING she recommends is the absolute best! She even has breakfast in the refrigerator for your first morning there! We loved every single thing about the house and location!! We felt so at home there! The pool was such a bonus! She is always available to help in any way. We would absolutely stay with her again. We left Bocas feeling like we had made a new friend. She puts her heart and soul into her properties!

We travelled with 3 boys to this retreat and were exceptionally glad we did! Had everything the adults and boys hearts desired. Beautiful breakfast, pools, ocean waves and sloths in the yard! A tour of the farm to eat fresh limes and say hi to the horses! Host and family incredibly helpful for setting up any day activities. Great little spots on the beach for lunch and dinner in walking distance. We even requested boogie boards for the kids and brand new ones were there when we arrived. Above and beyond. 100 percent we ll be back and would recommend

Großartige Unterkunft in toller Lage! Etwas schwierig erreichbar, wenn man mit eigenem Auto unterwegs ist. Mit dem Van mussten wir gerade auf den letzten Metern etwas vorsichtig fahren, um nicht aufzusetzen. Das wird aber mit einer großartigen Umgebung und einer tollen Unterkunft belohnt. Wir haben viele Tiere in der direkten Umgebung gesehen: Faultiere, verschiedene Affen, Kolibris, Papageien, Pfeilgiftfrösche, sogar eine Rainbow Boa(!), Lederschildkröten die am Strand ihre Eier ablegten (Anfang April), ein wildes, warmes Meer, dass mit etwas Vorsicht und etwas Kenntnis von Strömungen doch ganz gut zu handeln war in unserer Zeit - Schwimmen unmöglich, bisschen in den Wellen toben ging gut für Erwachsene, während die Kinder in den Bachmündungen spielten, tolle Ausflüge zur Isla Zapatilla und an den Starfish Beach (im April ist überall sehr wenig los), großes Glück mit dem Wetter. Wenn wir wieder nach Panama gehen, werden wir wieder hierher zurück kommen. Danke!

Adoramos a nossa estadia na casa de Augusto. As fotos correspondem com o que encontramos na casa. É uma casa muito espaçosa e confortável. Único ponto de atenção foi que não estava funcionando a agua quente para o banho. Acredito que ele irá arrumar em breve.

My family had an amazing stay at Michel's home (2 adults, 2 kids under 10yo). The house is right on the water with beautiful beaches and snorkeling just meters away. The arrival logistics were easy: We were picked up at the airport and driven straight to the office. Did some quick grocery shopping, grabbed a bite to eat, and then got on the boat to Al Natural. The resort area was great for kids since the water is fairly shallow off the beach and protected from big waves. We particularly appreciated: Readily available gear (paddle boards, ping pong, snorkeling gear, etc.). Amazing, large porch for relaxing. Ability to easily book excursions and transport (chocolate farm, scuba, bat caves, etc.). Cooking at the house or signing up for delicious meals at the main resort building. Kind staff that were welcoming to our kids. My only recommendation is bringing enough cash for excursions. We didn't plan it out well enough and were down to our last balboa/dollar at the end.

Bel accueil, petite maison sur l’eau parfaite. Séjour mémorable, nous le recommandons fortement. En admiration devant une nature si merveilleuse. la maison est parfaite pour tout et propice au repos. PS même faire la vaisselle devant une si belle vue devient agréable!!😋

We had a great stay at Jairo‘s place in Bastimientos. The house is located on a hill above the main town. The way up can be a bit muddy when it rains. The accomodation was really good and had a balcony with a beautiful view into the green garden. The house was clean and comfortable. The island Bastimientos was a good choice as it was really calm and you can walk to a very nice beach 15 mins away.

Clodine was absolutely wonderful and a great host. Helped us with everything we needed. Her place is like a Bohemian oasis full of art and trinkets. She is free spiritied and it shows in the place. Don't stay here expecting the 4 Seasons. It is a well located place right on the water. The added breakfast service was great. Staying here helped us to understand how people here live in unison with the land. We saw how wasteful we are here in America. It was a great experience. Clodin gets an A!

From the moment we arrived, this home swept us off our feet! This place is truly magical. Handcrafted from local sources (timber, coconuts, shells, stone), every detail reflects respect for the environment. The house is cozy, peaceful, & rustic, w/a funky edge. My favorite area was the patio, which opened up to the rainforest, teeming w/birds & flowers. I loved watching monkeys in the trees & listening to the waves. Next to the home is the owners' incredible restaurant, Arboloco, a local favorite. The restaurant has a chill jungle vibe (delicious Afro-Caribbean food) & is open Wed-Sat. Despite the nearby dining, privacy was never an issue. The path to our Airbnb was clearly separated, maintaining a secluded experience. The location is serene & is a 10-minute drive from Bocas Town. This Airbnb isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience… an artistic retreat. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect blend of nature, privacy, & local culture.

We just want to say a huge thank you to Lorenna and her wonderful family. We felt so welcome, and honestly we didn't want to leave. Lorenna was so helpful, giving us taxi numbers, and ideas of where to visit etc. Their house is cosy, well equipped, peaceful, cool and charming. For us we wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else on the island. Bluff beach is a little bit further out but trust me, it’s worth it. Best beach on the island in my opinion. And it’s right on your doorstep.

Das Haus mit der grossen Veranda ist gigantisch und nur zu empfehlen. Wir waren 7 Nächte da. Für uns als 4-köpfige Familie war das das schönste und bestausgerüstete Haus währen unserer gesamten 8- wöchigen Reise in Costa Rica und Panama. Die Dschungelgeräusche (vor allem die Brüllaffen) sind am Morgen sehr eindrücklich. Ich hatte Angst, dass es ohne AC sehr heiss wird. Das war aber wirklich nicht der Fall. Nicole ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin - immer da, wenn man sie braucht. Wir hatten ein eigenes Auto, das war etwas angenehmer, weil es schon ziemlich weit draussen ist - das ist aber genau das tolle am Haus.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Rita and her team assisted us from across CR to Panama and back to CR … from transportation, to private chef, boat excursions and activities! All the planning was spot-on! The house hosts welcomed us, the house and surrounding property were beautiful! Lots of extras for us to enjoy. Location had great ocean views and a quick walk to Star Beach, local restaurants and bars. The house hosts were more than accommodating and even made a fire on the beach every night! We would def recommend and would love to return … Best ~ Chris & Nancy

Nuestra experiencia en general con la casa y el host fueron extraordinarias, nos sentimos super bienvenidos en todo momento, Aristides nos ayudo en cada momento, nos dio recomendaciones excelentes de los comercios locales, nos brindo mucha ayuda con el transporte y en general fue una persona extraordinaria, quedamos encantados con el lugar, todo fue muy cómodo, limpio y tranquilo. Estamos encantados tanto con el lugar como con el anfitrión y esperamos poder volver pronto.

La estadía estuvo estupenda, Judith muy amable! Recomendable no llevar maletas grandes ya que van a tener que cargarlas porque hay que pasar por un puente de madera, por lo que un bulto es lo ideal ! Todo estuvo estupendo !

Jenny and Nanan are fantastic. The cabana is walking distance from downtown and all the water taxi ferries. It’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the location and Nanan is super responsive and a great person.

What a wonderful place to stay! The house is clean, comfortable, and stocked with all that you need. Zuleika went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect!

Tuve una estancia increíble en esta casa con vista impresionante, ubicada en un vecindario tranquilo y seguro. A tan solo 10-15 minutos de la playa, pude disfrutar de excursiones y pesca con Dan, quien fue un excelente guía. Además, el tour a Zapatillas fue una experiencia única. Recomiendo el restaurante Mamis, donde probé una deliciosa hamburguesa vegetariana. Justo al lado, la tienda tiene todo lo necesario para comprar lo que necesites. La hospitalidad de JJ fue excepcional, siempre disponible para ayudar y con excelentes recomendaciones sobre la zona. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una estancia relajante, ya sea en solitario o en familia. Desde la terraza, la vista es perfecta para meditar y conectarse con la naturaleza. El vecindario es amigable, con personas cálidas y un ambiente tranquilo, ideal para disfrutar de su tiempo libre con total seguridad. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar y planeo volver en el futuro. ¡Una experiencia única y memorable.

Amazing Stay at KoKo Waterfront Bungalow! We booked this bungalow last minute after hours, and the host went above and beyond to accommodate us, meeting us for check-in and making sure we had everything we needed. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable—a perfect getaway right on the water. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views made our stay even more special. We truly appreciate the hospitality and will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

Melanie war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin und hat uns sehr viele Tipps und Empfehlungen gegeben. Sie war jederzeit für uns erreichbar, der ganze Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist mit großen Koffern etwas umständlich. Die Aussicht vom Balkon aus war sehr schön!

We just spent several days at Casa Piedra and loved every second we were there! pick up from the dock in town was easy and the location in Dolphin Bay is beautiful! The house sits on top of a small hill and takes in the surrounding views and the breeze. We were greeted by the property care taker and he made sure we had everything we needed and explained how everything in the house worked! We spent hours kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling. The gardener stopped by and offered us a guided walking tour through the jungle. The property has all types of fruit growing fresh! From the dock we saw dolphins in the bay nearly every night. We stayed during a new moon and were able to experience the bioluminescence in the bay. Sit on the dock at night and kick you feet and watch the water light up like twinkling stars! The beds were comfortable. There is a full time kitchen so stop at one of the stores in town and get some of your favorites! There is a tv but we never even attempted to turn it on! The owners were incredible! They were very easy to communicate with and offered suggestions on things to do and see. They provide a list of contacts at the house for any excursion you could possibly want! The hosts, Brian and Amy own a neighboring resort and were also incredible in offering any assistance, suggestions and answering any questions we had. We actually had dinner at their place on evening and the food was amazing! The combination of everything was just perfect! We will definitely be back!
