Hi and welcome to Moriston River Cottages. Avalon Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. To ensure comfort and to make sure everything needed is included, we stayed in Avalon ourselves and loved every minute. Avalon is located with a great view of Moriston River and is 5 mins from Loch Ness. We found sleeping to the sound of the river very therapeutic! Sitting outside or viewing the river from inside Avalon was spectacular. The King size beds are both very comfortable as well is the the bedding

The property is situated in a secluded part of our garden approximately 22 meters from the main house, with stunning views onto a beautiful field and Wardlaw Mausoleum (Outlander) We are just 1 mile from the NC500 route, 8 miles from Inverness,, 4 miles from the the pretty little village of Beauly. There is an hourly bus service that runs from kirkhill which can take you to both places. Achnagairn castle is just a 5 minute walk away.
