Located on the outskirts of town in the immediate vicinity of the forest, our cottage is your starting point for numerous activities in the immediate vicinity as well as for excursions to the cultural sites of Thuringia. Well-maintained and well-signposted hiking and biking trails as well as good highway connections and regional train and bus connections.

Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. The bright and cozy apartment is located in a large garden in the district of Taubach, idyllically located on the Ilm, 5 km from the city center in Weimar. A separate entrance leads to the kitchen-living room, a large living/sleeping room and the bathroom. A sliding door can be closed to the kitchen-living room. The garden can be fully used. Various seats invite you to relax. There are two beautiful bike paths to Weimar as well as an hourly bus connection.

The house is modernly decorated and the garden offers plenty of space to spread out. In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof. In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. If you want to use them, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you can use in summer by arrangement.

The vacation apartment is located on the 1.7 hectare site of the GerApfeLand vegetable nursery and is located below the Steigerwald forest just outside the state capital Erfurt. The Geraradweg cycle path passes directly by the site. With us you can combine a relaxing stay in the countryside with a city trip. The vegetable garden is located right on the river Gera. If you feel like it, you can "garden" with Diana and Moritz or just relax.
